    Absolutely the worst movie.

The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

Not as good as Yogi but a close second. Huckleberry Hound always sticks out of my mind because of Huck's voice, and being an odd looking blue dog! Huck would always be in trouble. The pickle would be in different settings, times, characters, etc. The best was no matter how many the problem Huck would have Huck would face the pickle in the most laid back humorous attitude. Huck had the usual stupid, silly and over the top humor sticks. Shot, blowing up, exploded etc was aloud back in the day for cartoon comedy. Probably dated for today, but and icon no less.

I have to echo the previous comments alluding to Huck's voice, by Daws Butler, being based on Andy Griffith's drawl from his early comedy routines and southern characters, pre-Mayberry. Just listen to his routine called 'What it was Was Football', or his comedic take on explaining 'Romeo and Juliet', or watch his 'No Time for Sergeants'. I came across these old gems on the internet a couple of weeks ago after watching the PBS series about Pioneers of Television. One episode of the series, dealing with late night shows and their hosts, had a little bit of him on the old Steve Allen show telling these stories and I mentioned to my wife then that I thought the voice of Huck had to be based on Andy. I watched Huck's show starting with its debut in 1958 when I was 9 but I don't remember ever noticing the similarity before.

This has got to be the best cartoon ever made. I remember watching it as a kid and laughing my butt off at some of the jokes. Now I own the DVD and I still love the heck out of this show. My niece and nephew are always coming over my apartment to watch the DVD because they love the show to. I highly recommend this TV show. It's not only for children either. Hell I love this show and I am 27 year old man and I still find a lot of the show hilarious. If you still enjoy The Flintstones or Scooby Doo you will love this and If your kids love The Flintstones or Scooby Doo they will probably enjoy this very much. Very Awesome!!!! 10/10

The Huckleberry Hound Show was one of the first ever Hanna-Barbera cartoons that was the other first cartoons done by Hanna-Barbera cartoons!Huckleberry Hound is a blue-haired Southern dog with a fondness for the song, "My Darling, Clementine", and is a jack-of-all-trades cartoon star. He would appear as a scientist, police man, cowboy, jungle boy or something else. Huckleberry Hound's guest stars on his show were Pixie and Dixie, this was one of the segments I liked on this show because I thought it was funny when Mr. Jinks would say "I hate mieces to pieces!" which I think is a famous catch phrase. Yogi Bear was one of the guest stars on this show for a little while until he got his own show and that was when Hokey Wolf took it's place. Hokey Wolf was a free-spirited wolf who would go on a few adventures with his sidekick, Ding-A-Ling.User Rating: 7/10BOTTOM LINE: GOOD!
