    Absolutely Fantastic

The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.

***This review is Rate PG-13 (or R (IDK)) for drug reference***First off, I'm going to rate this a 10/10 for 3 reasons. 1. Thats thehighest it will let me rate. 2. I, LOVE, this show. It's original, funny, and it's one of the better shows on cartoon network, which hasreally started to go downhill with a lot of the newer shows like the 3scooby doo remakes that they have now, and the absolutely HORRIBLEanime/cartoon mutant hybrid shows such as Ben 10 and Generator Rex which are enough to make me smash my TV its self. And then there's Johnny test but, i wont get into that because its the wrong page, but "The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack" is a quality, good, clean show, unlike every Total Drama show that they have now which have some very unchild friendly themes and content.Granted, there are some rather dark and disturbing things in this show, but its made up by the funny dialog, uplifting colors and characters so that when those parts roll around they just make you giggle. Which is probably the way the show was meant to be.and finally #3. I just don't see how anybody could not like this show. It's adorable at bear minimum.Flapjack is like a little American tofu ball u just want to roll up and eat because he probably tastes like rainbows and unicorns and gumdrops.Cap'n K'nuckles is a crude, hardened "adventurer" who may start most of their problems by either lying, stealing, cheating, or some other conman/pirate hobby, but despite his crack-like candy addiction and alcoholic-maple syrup-drinking problem he always find a touching and heart-warming moral which flapjack and most kids grow from. Because its a kid show. Not a show for people over 13. Unless you're like me and my friends and you enjoy children's cartoons well into your teens. But this show wasn't meant to be like Rugrats, Johnny Bravo, Angry Monsters or Hey Arnold!, which were all really great shows that I miss. And if it was meant to be like that then they greatly missed the mark and spawned a funny show itself.Oh, and if it was like older cartoons then i would read mostly negative reviews calling it a "ripoff" of the older shows.

With the dwindling quality of CN, this show is a gleaming new hope for EVERY cartoon around! Flapjack combines morbid humor, as Billy and Mandy did, with hilarious voice acting, strange animation, and funny and compelling stories make this show incredibly well made, and funny in it's different qualities.Thurop Van Orman's voice acting is hilarious, and the other acting is funny. The voice acting is clear, and never fades out of it's talent. The animation is very crisp, and looks like an 80's cartoon, which gives the show a classy feel. The music feels as if it came straight out of a pirate movie, and makes the atmosphere feel so much more classical.Overall, the show's morbid feel and classic animation makes the show unique among the last 3 remaining good CN cartoons with new episodes still airing (Flapjack, Chowder, and TDI/TDA), and with creative director J.C. Quintel working on the new "Regular Show", you can be sure we'll see TWO cartoons like this!

Flapjack is one of those rare cartoons that you just don't see anymore. It has this very surreal feel to it, almost like it is more for an older audience. It isn't afraid to show gruesome images or add a bit of adult humor. It has a lot of random humor as well. Saying this, I wouldn't recommend it for young children, because I feel adults would probably appreciate it more. It reminds me of the older, classic cartoons, where anything was possible and no one was afraid to push the envelope. And one random positive is that the characters is likable as well as quotable. One of these days it will be one of those classic cartoons. Awesome cartoon.

I have to say this show was really trashy , stupid and awful It is meaningful to children but not meaningful to the adults and teens. This show is random and somewhat compelling. However how compelling it is i have to look at the negativity and the positivity of this show and i can only think of negative things about it. It has no plot what so ever , it has trashy looking characters that look like 5th grade children drew, and it has no actual interests in intelligence. I've seen shows like anime, cartoons , movies. But this one out of all is the worse. All i have to say is that I've watched cartoon shows from like France, Denmark ,like go Hugo go = Jungledyret etc. And out of all of them i say this one is the most revolting. I just hope next time they have a show that they actually try to have a plot with decent looking characters and some effort to the project.
