    Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.

Best movie of this year hands down!

    Robert Joyner

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.

I remember seeing a TV premiering of the simple life agers ago and whenever i could catch an episode i'd watch it and love it! The Simple Life stars Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie, two spoilt socialites who embark across America doing manual low-pay work.My favourite is Paris Hilton, although i preferred her before watching the series, i found Nicole a little too annoying. Seeing them both together is hilarious, its just the little things like seeing a bug erupts world war 3. Although its a little dramatic, its funny seeing how they react to different things. We'd never expect Paris or Nicole to do anything for themselves and thats why its so enjoyable seeing them get their hands muddy. Its funny most of the time but it can drag on a little bit, maybe a few fresh idea's but its still something you can chill out too.Series 2 has to be the best, but make sure you get a peek at them all, its very uplifting.

I would just like to reply to all of the anal people who run this show down that it is supposed to be stupid! Get it?? For God's sake, quit expecting The Sopranos and just enjoy the insanity! Tony isn't showing up--but now that'd be way cool! Forget worrying about how smart Paris is-- you're wrong-- and just enjoy her. She's funnier than hell and you're gay in the wrong direction if you can't just enjoy the scenery. She's an incredibly gorgeous woman and her sidekick ain't bad either. This is the best comedy on TV and it gets a 10 from me. So there. Why is it that we Must Learn Something or a show isn't worth watching? What's that about? Lighten up, people. Watch this and learn to have fun. See-- educational. By the way, the victims get paid well for whatever the girls wreck. Trust me. Also trust me that the hosts of this thing are equally anal. This was a far better comment before it was emasculated into its present lame form. Thank you. Get back to All Things Considered now.

I've seen one episode from the new season, and I didn't think a show could be this bad. What a waste of time. The girls are stupid and spoiled. Several instances show how:1) Refusing to help carry in their own bags. (I would never carry their bags if they didn't help, leave it on the street).2) Letting their stupid dogs crap at other people's homes. I would have made them clean it up or kick them out.3) They wrecked two cars at the car service place. Even if the producers pay, so what? 4) They brought two ugly dogs to some woman's house as a gift, but expected her to pay $4000. Girls, when you give someone something it's called a gift, and you pay. Otherwise, don't get it. DUH! 5) When they went to get lunch for the other workers, they were eating their food! Nasty. Who knows what these disease- infested whores have? Bottom line- this show is the worst. Bad people make bad shows. I feel bad for their parents for having ungrateful, self-centered brats who are stupid enough to humiliate themselves (producers advice) for ratings.

I honestly can't see what is even vaguely entertaining about this show.Sure, I've tuned in out of the same morbid curiosity which causes you to stick your finger in an electric outlet once in your life. One has to wonder "just what IS this"; yet what compels one to continue watching? I really see nothing amusing here. Merely pathetic. There's no clever satire or scathing commentary. It's merely mental depravity and an attempt to make the poor feel superior. I doubt even these ditzes are quite as stupid as they portray themselves. Yet what stupidity is real and what is scripted becomes a moot point; it's stupidity without redemption.Crud like this is an indicator of how poor American society has become.
