Yawn. Poorly Filmed Snooze Fest.

Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

I used to watch this show when I was a little girl. When I think about it, I only remember it vaguely, though. However, I remember the opening sequence and theme song pretty well. If you ask me, it was an okay show. In addition to that, everyone was ideally cast. Also, it was very educational. The performances were good, too. I hope some network brings it back so I can see every episode. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that I'll always remember this show in my memory forever, even though I haven't seen every episode. Now, in conclusion, if some network ever brings it back, I hope that you catch it one day before it goes off the air for good.

This show is the greatest. I'm 20 years old and I watched this show since I was really really young...I'm surprised I still even remember it since then. I also remember watching it sometime after 1987 when they played reruns on TVO kids...i even recorded them too. they should really make a DVD collection! i would definitely purchase it. i love the theme song to this show...i even downloaded and it brought back so many memories. i can't believe that this show doesn't air anymore...i wish it still did...at least the reruns. kids these days need to watch shows like this...is there a way we could get them to come up with a DVD collection if there is not any yet??? it would be nice to see these episodes again.

For the longest time I could not figure out why no one else remembered this show. Finally I asked my mom and turns out I was only like 2 1/2 years old when I watched it (I'm 19 now). I do not remember any certain episode really well, but I remember Jeff coming to life with the plaid hat and what the store looked like. And after reading "Hocus Pocus Alamgocus" that has come back to me too! It's too bad so few remember it. Most only know shows like Fraggle Rock and Zoobileezoo. Kids shows really just aren't what they used to be.By the way, anyone know how many years Today's Special went for? I watched it on PBS since I never had cable.

This was a show that was very cute and funny. I was about 7 or 8 when it was on. I can remember the characters Jodie and Jeff, Sam the security guard and Muffy the mouse. It was pretty funny, the stuff that they would do when the store closed down. The show was all about a mannequin who came to life when a magic hat was placed on his head. I think the store was supposed to be in Canada. One episode I remember well, was when they decided to have a Cafe' on the roof, and it started to rain. All the bread sticks got wet! As with the last person's comments, no one that I have asked remembers the show either. I think this was one of the first shows I watched on Nickelodeon. Hopefully, someday, they can recover the series, and bring it out on DVD for children today.
