Too much of everything

I saw this movie before reading any reviews, and I thought it was very funny. I was very surprised to see the overwhelmingly negative reviews this film received from critics.

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

.Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.

If you like behind the scenes documentaries about TV shows, you will like this one. It is very well done and thoroughly covers every aspect of the production. Fourteen featurettes in all, with run time of about 10 minutes each: total run time is about 2 hours 20 minutes. It is in 5.1 surround sound.
