Very well executed
Please don't spend money on this.
The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
View MoreI think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
View MoreI never had any real serious issues with the series since the pilot, but that said anyone who finds something wrong now compared to past seasons needs their head examined. Season 4 is good. It's solid for a police procedural with a main character who has the ability to remember everything. Good writing + persistent efforts + excellent casting = a show worth watching! Hopefully the ratings will demonstrate but as a fan since 2013 I am definitely quite happy about watching this show and the direction it's moving and hope A&E can keep it alive especially since they just recently bumped it to 10 pm on a Friday from 8 pm back in 2015. Let's keep the ratings up, viewers. Watch A&E & check out your local TV listings for future viewings.
View MoreThree seasons.. 48 episodes.. and it's all pretty much boring. The crime stories alone ain't getting it done. They're should be much more of the personal story-line stuff.. that's what keeps folks coming back week to week.. to find out just what happens with the two of them and all their confused 'relationships.' And when they set this production up to put on-air, they should have gone to cable. It would have allowed them much more freedom to make use of the one real asset this show has to offer. Just go on bing.com and look at her images. They could have gone as far as they want, and it could have been a much more interesting and grown-up crime-com drama with a bolder format.. one 'Castle' is much more than enough.
View MoreThe all too familiarity of the shows structure and leading characters gives a sense of amiability and, somewhat falsely, a pleasurable tone to an otherwise clichéd 'cop duo' plot. The shows only potentially engaging premise is the leading characters uncanny ability to recall any memory she has ever had in extraordinary detail. However, this premise too often feels forced and unimaginative, not to mention annoyingly coincidental. This leads the plot feel inelegant and contrived. The leading roles lack charisma and likability. The supporting characters are underutilised and under developed making them feel superficial and unmemorable. The show is comparable to 'touch' or 'numbers'. A better alternative would be 'the listener', which offers a very similar plot, but much more engaging charismatic leading roles and supporting roles.
View MoreAfter stupid CBS cancelled this great show AGAIN...dang them. A&E picked it up...Bravo A&E right on. glad somebody sees the value in this great show plus we get to see more great plots and action. I do hope they revisit the first seasons under-plot of the mysterious stranger. You'll have to watch to see what that is all about. Kudos for not cancelling this entirely. There may be hope yet. Thank you A&E for grabbing this before it died. Really nice show and Poppy is perfect for the part. If possible It also would be cool to re-visit the first season characters a bit. Really enjoy the forget nothing idea, kind of spooky. would be interesting to remember every little detail forever.
