Somehow went through the 1st Season thinking that it would get better. But it continued to suck to the end and ultimately stopped watching. Just your average TV show. Nothing new to the story and contains really bad acting. Characters are just cliché and nothing to keep the audience wrapped to the show. If you are into really good TV shows, DO NOT WATCH THIS SHOW.

I just finished White Collar on Netflix and I'm enamored by the writing, the acting, and the direction this show takes audiences. Its definitely a show for the ages. Bomer and DeKay are the perfect combo like Sinatra and Martin - genuine, intelligent, and flowing with charisma. The supporting cast are perfect. There was never a weak season in this show the only disappointment I had was the fact season 6 was cut short. Out of everything that this show has to offer besides talent, substance, and humor is the appearance of the beautiful and delightful, Hilarie Burton who makes seasons 2,3, and 4 the most watchable.

A Review WHITE COLLAR TV Series (2009–2014)The way I watch a TV series is to binge watch the entire series at my leisure. You never miss an episode and you can see at any point, if it is worth your time to continue with it. White Collar was worth it. I would have quit it after a few episodes due to the enormous plot holes, tortured twists, conjured timing and all around TV-ness with it's lack of inventive camera work, boring cinematography, etc., but not everyone is as demanding as me. Having said that, the primary reason I was able to see all 81 episodes to the end was chemistry. Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay and Willie Garson worked amazingly well together, each of them at the top of the food chain at what their characters do. Throw in Tiffani Thiessen who sort of ties them all together into one big rogue family and the heart of the cast is complete. Garson keeps it funny and inventive in spite of his total lack of acting ability but the quirky charm he exudes is convincing, and that is enough. It is inventive and complicated enough to hold interest. It's funny, sad, manipulative and has some incite without being too predictable. Ross McCall, a repeating villain, steals the show whenever he pops up to ruin someone's day. I recommend this show to anyone who likes FBI vs brilliant bad guys into high stakes white collar crime that can get very messy, very quickly. GOT Netflix?!!

If I was voting purely on chemistry, then this would probably rate a 9 or possibly 10.The actors all do a fantastic job on screen, and share a great chemistry together. That shines through in every episode I've seen, and makes watching a pleasure.Only hope they get other chances to work together, as they come across so naturally. So no criticism of the actors at all. They've made a shallow show totally palatable, and if the casting had been different I doubt if this would have lasted one season. The problem is how often you're asked to suspend belief. Okay, whatever we watch requires a degree of that - but this takes it to a new level. In the pilot, we're expected to believe that Neal can identify the latest currency from a single strand - despite being in prison for 4 years.Unlikely, if not impossible, but let that slide for the moment. After all, even the best scripts have the odd mistake. But how many times can someone cut their tracking anklet and still remain outside of prison ? Nearly every episode Neal cuts his anklet, or engages in criminality (often with the FBI's knowledge), and STILL gets away with it. Even down to colluding in hiding a Nazi treasure of stolen goods, taken from a u-boat that was somehow recovered and placed in a warehouse with nobody knowing. To be honest, the show requires a total suspension of brain activity to make it even vaguely plausible. The main problem seems to be that the show isn't certain what it is. Is it a comedy, is it a drama..............certainly isn't a serious crime drama, that's for sure.If it was being played purely for laughs, then could let the massive problems slide. But it often tries to be serious too, and then the script problems really come to light.Certainly isn't the worst show ever, but neither is it as good as its current rating would suggest. As it is, the show's a bit like elevator music. Easily tolerable and nothing offensive...............but more or less the same story every week with different supporting characters.
