Sorry, this movie sucks

Absolutely the worst movie.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

I was on a long flight, and was planning to check out a single episode before going to sleep.. I didn't think I'd like the show based on the ads I'd seen, but turns out I couldn't stop watching. I ended up seeing seven episodes, laughing out loud, waking up the people next to me. Great show! Very funny, compelling characters, love the writing. I'm baffled by the bad reviews here.. were they watching the same show?! Of course the characters/situations are exaggerated - it's a comedy.

The writing is witty, clever, and fresh, and the acting...wow, total gems in this show, everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE is perfect in their roles (special nod to Dani Kind who dominates the comedy)! This show is a must for anyone who enjoys comedy and great acting, and it really showcases how smooth a finish a show can get with an all woman crew behind the scenes. From Writing to production this show is refreshingly, beautifully finished.Go watch it immediately and stay tuned for when the 2nd series airs!

First time writing a review and first time binge watching an entire season of a Canadian show. Writing is fabulous. Female actresses are phenomenal and plot line is laugh out loud funny. Totally nailed it. Can't say enough great things. Hoping for many more seasons of this awesome show.

I watched a couple of episodes of this show because it is on before the national news.This show realistically portrays what its like for a Canadian mother to work a comfortable, university entry office job.The problem is that the writing is hacky and uninteresting. Reitman's writing (she's not a professional writer, for one) sounds like an obnoxious person seated next to you in a restaurant, and importantly that's how she wants to sound. I'm being hypocritical, but CBC's "Schitt's Creek" does a better job of satirising and being funny.
