Am I Missing Something?
It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.
View MoreEach character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
View MoreQuite a clearcut Mad Men ripoff, with the exception of it taking place in a present day law firm instead of a '60s ad agency - it suffers from this copying by, besides lacking originality, not remotely living up to the original's standard when it comes to dialogue, cinematography, acting, writing/plot/story, set design, etc.Possibly worth watching if you'd like to see how it doesn't quite live up to Mad Men in all spite of its attempts, though wouldn't recommend it when it comes to seeking out high quality cinema.
View MoreZuidas has a credibility problem. Not because of the actors or Amsterdam's Zuidas setting. The script is just too weak. Stereotype characters without sufficient depth, farfetched plotlines and awkward conversations. A beforehand promising series fails to live up to expectations.
