Charlie Cassidy is a British film director, producer, writer and cinematographer. He is best known for creating and directing the Honeybuns Trilogy. Charlie Cassidy is the founder of production company Westy Films which distributes most of his movies. Charlie has stated he prefers making "independent films" then making "blockbuster spectacles". Charlie’s passion for films began when he would film iMovies on his iPad with his friends. It wasn’t until he watched the movie “Inception” that he was inspired to produce longer films with a proper story. He's noted for having small cameo appearances in his movies with his biggest role being the main villain of Honeybuns: Betrayal of Both Sides. Charlie has noted the works of Christopher Nolan, Martin Scorsese, Damien Chazelle & Steven Spielberg as some of his biggest inspirations. Charlie has said he’s got a few film ideas in his head but wants to focus on filming his new film “Dimensions Shattered” which is a requel film based off the Honeybuns series.
