i must have seen a different film!!

Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

a woman. a palace. need of the other. confusion of feelings. and a choice. different lines as parts of a carpet. Russian flavor and impressive actress. slices of melancholy, expectations, illusions, autumn filigrees, air of sacrifice, abdications and hope. walls, angels, meetings, seeds of details. a film, like many others, about roots, life lessons and happiness as cactus flower. crumbs of worlds in huge bread of images, desires, accidents. result - an interesting film for its final taste - mixture between honey and ash. and Viktoria Feodorovna, as Georgian young woman portrait - axis for men, part of her refuge - work,anonymous silhouette in a museum, artist for angels bodies, flavor of past and its respiration. smoke of war and a sea without limits. a trip in secret parts of soul. and the choice. as first light in misty morning.
