Well first of all shout-out to Tom Hanks for making the fiction look real and owning his character. Second if this movie was a project which I think it was then let me just say that it had the best arrangements that I have ever come across in my life. To second that thought I'd say this was the right movie for the director Zemeckis to prove that even a cash cow director could bewilder fans with his movie magic. Now about the movie, a normal person would say that this movie has got sadness, comedy, seriousness and a load of other stuff which makes a perfect blend. But I'm sorry as I have sincerely watched this movie and found out a couple more things than just genre-defying components. To start with this movie revolves around the central character and the central character holds dear to himself a few other characters so the movie also includes extra screen time for them, now the reason I have mentioned this fact is to make you realize that this is not about a person who has lived an extra-ordinary life and has changed the world with his feats, but quite the opposite. It is instead a movie about a simple honest man who has been around only a few people his whole lifetime and although of his non-credited contributions to the society he still remains intact with his loved ones. This creates a lot a way for the movie to be so mesmerizing but in the same time also be so sweet. End of story.

Great acting, great adaptation. I'm not American and I learned a lot about American history by watching this movie. To me it's not just a love story it's a historical document intertwined with fiction which would be the main character's intervention in all situations.

This movie is one of the greatest movies ever made. There are so many important lessons in this movie that can teach us all something meaningful. Forrest Gump is filled with many different emotions. It's like a bunch of captivating short stories in different parts of Forrest Gump's life rolled all into one movie. This is one of those movies you can enjoy watching over and over again and never get bored with it.

Whenever somebody asks me about my favorite film I have the answer and it's Forest Gump, of course!I love it because it has every single ganre in it and you can watch it to any mood. There is something to laugh and to cry about, there are a lot of deep philosophical ideas which can make you look at things around you differently! It's a story of a very special guy, who is not very smart, but has the biggest heart. He is born to a very kind lady who loves him unconditionally and supports him with everything. He goes through all kinds of challenges in life: war in Vietnam, starting a business with a friend, falling in love with a wrong woman, raising a child alone and still is one of the riches and the most successful people you can think of!One of my favorite lines in the film is: "I'm not a smart man. But I know what love is."
