Sorry, this movie sucks

Absolutely brilliant

Robert Joyner

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

as product of Russian animation school, the film could not be a surprise. only special because it is powerful seductive. first steps of Alyosha to be a real bogatyr, a horse who risk become the lead character, precise lesson about basic values and about the importance of honesty, it is a lovely film for entire family.and that is a great virtue because reflects not only the high art but a profound science to transform cultural legacy in a seductive product. the air of old fashion childhood represents the pillar of its beauty. the heroes as only ordinary people/animals. the joy in its pure nuances. the friendship illustration in the right tone. and the courage as the top of the great bogatyr. a film who seems be perfect for smiles and laughs who is more than comedy but a precious lesson/remind of old truths.

Really great cartoons! Very funny dialogs - can be watched by children and adults and all will have a good time. I have no idea why there it has been done so little in making known Russian animation. Another good Russian animation film is Longnose. Thanks to our National TV for broadcasting all these 3. Looking forward to see more (I'm searching now the internet). The 1970s1970s The 1970s, or the Seventies was the decade that ran from January 1, 1970 to December 31, 1979.In the western world, social progressive values that began in the 1960s, such as increasing political awareness and political and economic liberty of women, continued to grow....The Soviet Union's most popular animation series, Nu, Pogodi!Nu, pogodi! Nu, pogodi! (Just you wait!)is a Soviet/Russian animation series produced by Soyuzmultfilm. The series was created in 1969 and became a popular cartoon of the Soviet Union....

Fine animated cartoon, with original humor and the non-standard scenario. The speaking horse - Julias is most remembered. Other heroes also are amusing. The given animated cartoon actually unique in modern Russia which can compete to the American cartoon films. With the account of Russian specificity it is pleasant to me unequivocally more than the American, whose animated cartoons become recently, all is worse and worse. One WALL-E is boring and is not original. All pleasant viewing. Thanks for attention.P.S. Excuse for my bad English

Let's take nice but not too smart hero, give him a talking horse, send him on long and dangerous journey and make a funny animated film about it. Many people will probably say 'But that's Shrek'. Well, yeah - this movie is pretty much the Russian version of Shrek. It's based upon the same concept, it contains many characters and places from both Russian fairy tales and history and it's all put together in quite funny way.If you want to know few thing about Russian culture or you know it already and want to see it put in a different way or you're curious how Shrek would look like, if it was made by Russians or if you simply want to see a funny animated movie, then Alesha Popovich i Tugarin Zmey will not disappoint you.
