Overrated

I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

My kids and I really enjoyed this movie. We've probably watched it 6 or 7 times. It still makes us laugh. I decided to rate it since it had such bad ratings. When you have children you really look at kid movies differently. Children like to watch movies again and again. So you have to hope it's something you don't mind watching. Some of the movies are so boring or they have parents dying or are just scary. This movie was just fun. I can't believe people are expecting a logical plot from this type of movie.The child actors in this movie all do a great job. The aliens are goofy and silly. The teenage sister and her boyfriend are annoying. But that's okay. The writing is okay. The parents are as dumb as parents usually are in this type of movie. Nana is hilarious.

This a very funny film, at least in my opinion. It reminds me of Disney's "Spaced Invaders" in some respects. This movie starts with a family going on a vacation. There is the weenie nerd that is acting up, deliberately getting poor grades. The love struck teen sister and a younger sister who is still at the grade school level. The parents are of course parents. They get to the vacation house and the older sister's boyfriend shows up too. Then the grandmother and her second son and his kids appear. Shortly after this the aliens show up. They are about 2 feet tall and are on a mission to conquer earth, except for the new engineer who turns out to be friendly to the earthlings. It turns out that kids are immune from the aliens mind control device and so they fight back. The action is funny and entertaining with the boyfriend going from alien control to control by the kids. They make him do so many weird things including throwing big sis in to the lake. By the end, with the little aliens help, the baddies are beaten and the invasion is thwarted. Don't stop watching after what appears to be the end, there is some funny stuff coming.

This movie literally blew the cobwebs out of my system i laughed so much along with my daughter - please do not listen to negative reviews of this movie -its daft and funny and meant to be that way and the characters really gel nicely.I know its for kids but i seen it twice in a week it is so funny.Just take a look and make your own view but i can highly recommend this esp as a family movie.There is some funky tunes in this movie too esp Dr Love by Donnie Klang.9 out of 10 for making you laugh,

This movie is terrible! I'm a 14 year old and I really like sci-fi comedy and some children's titles, but this is pure garbage! The film's aliens are non-original and as flat and annoying as any other character in this dreadful Kid's trash movie and should be a video game as opposed to a 45 million dollar feature. I view the film as anyother kid's trash that's coming out now-adays such as: G-Force, Diary Of A Wimpy Kid,and this are all Troma's equivalent of Children's genre. I also saw a trailer for Mr.Popper's penguins, and it looked as bad as this! But when it all comes down to it, ONLY BUY THIS MOVIE IF YOU HAVE KIDS AND ARE A STAY-AT-HOME MOM! That's all!*_*
