The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

I am one of those types of people who like to watch bad D movies for the horrible funniness of it all but this one had nothing. I was saddened to see Grahm Green in such a terrible file, his expression through showed how bad it was and how he wished he had not accepted. Unlike Sharknado which was so bad it was good could not live up to the so bad it's good genre. The 10 ratings were the people on the hook for this mess and should be removed. Those are the kind of ratings that make IMDb less reliable and they should take more care or at least an algorithm of 5% high and 5% low to delete out of the final score. Other than that this is not worth blocking up a pool table with the DVD.

Saw the title and thought I'd give this film a watch; however, I shouldn't have bothered as it was so terrible. I watched the full film to see how bad it would get, but words cannot describe how awful this film is in places.Plot starts off similar to Pacific Rim, but just becomes absurd within less than 10 minutes. The acting was awful and very wooden at times and the CGI was very budget (high school project level). Also this film is full of both factual errors and continuity errors, that shows the lack of research done by the writing team.Overall this film does not even deserve 1/2 star (it's that awful).

So so so so so so bad..... in EVERY way imaginable. Bad acting, continuity, effects, story.... all of it. The bot suddenly springs up out of water barely deep enough to come up to its knees... was it lying down first??? Why were there so many dead people in town? One fight on the beach and practically the whole town was destroyed. NO military man carries a gun gangsta style in his waistband behind his back... In the car, the driver with the eyepatch never put his eyes on the road... just kept looking at General/Admiral Hadley. Not sure which since the same officer called him General and then Admiral... And as far is i know, 3 stars in the Marines is Lt General and in the Navy its Vice Admiral, either way they should not be calling him General or Admiral. WHAT?!?! Busting a locked doorknob on a steel door with a wooden handled hammer?!?!? And there was no locking mechanism in the door, just a doorknob on a door. Colonel Geise... fer gods sake take a chill pill. Loosen ya undies man, they must be so wadded up. I've never seen a man so stressed and full of pent up anger... any more stress and ya eyepatch will melt. Oh and is Geiss a Captain or a Colonel? Just exactly WHICH branch of the military was running all this??? Army, Navy, Marines??? None of the insignia was correct for any of them. I was trying to work it out but got a headache and gave up. 3 Bots and only Red does the work??? wtf? Melee weapons magically appear... OMG ITS THE POWER RANGERS!!!!!Forget this movie. I've wasted some of my precious life watching it... time i'll never get back... WHY.... why did i do it....? *sob sob*

SPOILERS!!!! OK, I saw all of the bad reviews and said, "Hey, this must be a terrible movie without much of anything that I would like because so many other people hated it!". But, then I said, "Hey, why not watch it anyway because I know that I won't live forever and there is a chance it could be good and I will die and NOT know it was really good.". So, I decided to watch it and found out that it was well acted and had a great plot with really, really, dootedly CGI effects. The bots looked like they could walk right off your screen and into your bed with your girlfriend. Several of the actors were sweaty all of the time, I noticed, BTW! We were all like shouting that they needed to wipe off the sweat or get sudsy in an all out soapy shower scene with hot babes and milfs. It's all good anyway with out the shower scene.
