I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

Captured both the original movie with a new storyline the fit in perfectly! After my daughter saw the movie, I went on eBay and bought the original plush toy .

The most important feature of the original movie was the development of each of the characters. Instead, it was all story that was pushed along. Many times, I found myself cringing at plot holes and set mistakes. Electricity in an abandoned building for one. For a remake from the son of the original writer, I expected more.

I just got done watching the movie and I was just saying how I thought it was a little too dark. Then I got on here and saw people saying the same thing. Other than that it's a good movie but parents need to know it's a little to dark for kids. I would suggest maybe parents watch the movie through first and then decide wether to let your kids watch. I wish parents would do that for any movie they get for their kids. Especially nowadays. People tend to be loose with what they label "family friendly" these days. Just FYI for parents out there there's a website that rates movies based on the content for families or anyone. And they tell you anything that might be inappropriate that's in the movie.
