I like Black Panther, but I didn't like this movie.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

Well I didn't hate the movie as much as other reviewers. Could it be that I am new to Bollywood movies, just started watching them because of Netflix, and to me this movie was pretty original?.I indeed liked the idea of the movie. How a car thief steals the car from the girl he is in love with and tries to steal it back. It also involves some criminals and cops so there is a lot going on.The movie felt a bit too stretched. 2.5 hours for this is a bit too much, one could do it faster if they didn't have all the scenes of him telling her how he loves her and her telling he is shameless and should disappear. Some things also made no sense. Like Babli was considered one of the best car thieves? Yet he seemed to be horrible with it from the start. A good thief would not steal it in front of several people, get the whole police in town after him. And even stop show them the real ID and even tell his whole story. He was an amateur at best. I also don't get why Tara changes her mind about him. So when she finds out he is not a mechanic but thief who stole her car she loves him. What?.Yet besides the issues listed above which caused me to remove points from the movie I was still entertained. I didn't find it very funny. Like there weren't many individual jokes that I considered great. But the movie had for the most part a very light hearted action atmosphere that keep one in a good mood. The actors were also pretty good. Ranbir Kapoor is very charismatic. The dance and singing scenes were pretty energetic and well done. Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh were also great as the police couple. Actually I think they had the scenes that actually made me laugh!

Besharam is one of the worst films I've seen in a long time. This movie is bad from the word 'Go' and I was wondering why did the father-mother-son duo of Rishi,Neetu and Ranbir ever signed this film. There is no story and it seems that Abhinav Kashyap who had made the entertaining Dabangg a few years back wanted to hit back on the Salman Khan camp for not letting him direct Dabangg 2. Alas, Salman had the last laugh because Besharam is terrible film and I wished many a times that Abhinav be punished firstly for co-writing this nonsense and then directing it.He wastes the talents of the Kapoor family, includes toilet humour and Ranbir's naked body shots, also wastes the talent of Javed Jaffery (who also looks bored), introduces one actress called Pallavi Sharda who has no screen presence, can't dance for nuts and worse, can't act too. Ranbir puts up one bad show from the word go. Besharam in English means shameless. But Ranbir's character is more of a cheepo than shameless. Disappointing show.

After the success of critically and commercially successful Barfi(2012) and the blockbuster Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani(2013), Ranbir Kapoor returns with the much hyped Besharam. The film was hyped up mainly because it had Ranbir Kapoor and it was the return of Abhinav Kashyap(the director of Dabangg). Kashyap probably though that an action comedy with the new superstar Ranbir would give him a 100 crore hit. However, that doesn't seem possible because the film has completely nose dived after a 20 crore start on Wednesday.Besharam is the story of a car thief who steals car for a living, he donates more than half of his money to the orphanage he was raised in. He is a very shameless person and you can see this based on the amount of Besharami in him. The film has so much slapstick humour and it tries really hard to make you laugh but it only succeeds partially. The love story between Babli and Tara is poorly handled, there is no chemistry between the lead pair. It is hard to digest the fact that a qualified and stubborn girl falls for a shameless boy because he helps her get her car back(the same one he stole from her). The only thing that works to an extent is the action scenes and the clash between Chandel and Babli. The end is predictable with an ending which is very similar to Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani(a much better film of Ranbir Kapoor).Direction by Abhinav Kashyap is bad, this movies pales in front of Dabangg(2010) which wasn't novel but well handled and clap worthy. The initial scenes are good but the film's pace drops, there are too many songs in the first half, and there are many comedy scenes in the first half which fail to make you laugh. The biggest problem is the weak humour which fails to make you laugh in many parts. The scene where Ranbir takes his friend's socks out of his pants is just crude and the scene where he takes a bath is meant to make you laugh but it just doesn't work, it's silly, not funny.Music is OK but there are way too many songs. The title song is the best while the song at the random wedding is average, the song in the car when they are going to Chandigarh is good while the rest are just fillers. However, the songs aren't placed properly.Ranbir Kapoor is good but this genre doesn't suit him. He was much better in YJHD(2013) and most of his previous films. He does make you laugh in places and his expressions are good but this act is average compared to his natural charismatic act in YJHD and Barfi. Pallavi Sharda does a good job as a debutant, she does act like a stubborn girl but the chemistry between her and Ranbir isn't good, it's just weak. Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor do a decent job though some of their dialogs are crude and the toilet scenes of Rishi Kapoor are just silly and crude. This is the first time the Kapoor parents and their son Ranbir comes together but they fail to successfully steal the hearts of the audience. Javed Jaffery for once acts well and does well as the villain. The rest of the supporting cast has acted well.On the whole, Besharam is another bad film which fails to succeed as an action comedy. Watch this film only for Ranbir's acting and the songs, and the heroine's acting. The film is a big disappointment and it probably won't do well at the box office, it might recover it's 60 crores cost. This means the film can be an average grosser at it's best.

'Besharam', again an awful and hackneyed movie has joined the list of masala movies. It is really hard to understand the structure of such kind of cinema which does not serve any purpose for the reason that it spoils the image of evolving Indian Cinema. A lot of money and talent are being wasted in such ventures and consequence is futile-in this era, such kind of cinema is running parallel with imaginative and quality cinema which should be stopped in order to create some peculiar and though-provoking films.Abhinav Kashyap tries to reinvent the charisma of "Dabangg"- it had Salman with some good elements in contrast he now presents "Besharam" with a wafer thin plot, clichés, songs in almost every frame, Ranbir's butt cleavage, warehouse climax etc. It basically relies on Kapoor's but fails to get anywhere near to an entertainment due to an absurd screenplay and plot. Abhinav has great actors but it is impossible to act without a script.BESHARAM is Ranbir's debut with masala film, which is a fiasco. I wonder what made him work on 'Besharam', maybe because lately every A-list actor is working on these kinds of films.'Besharam' is set in 'Delhi', like most of the movies. Babli (Ranbir Kapoor) raised in an orphanage, is a street smart car mechanic who steals cars and gives all the money to his orphanage. He falls in love with Tara (Pallavi Sharda) but inadvertently steals her car. Now Babli decides to get her car back from Chandel (Javed Jaferry), a criminal.A lot of things happen in the zig-zag screenplay but nothing is consistent. You might be amused in some moments but those are forced and do not go well with the narration. It contains some crude and toilet humor with awkward body languages which looks over the top and unnecessary. Jaaved Jaffrey's first villainous act leaves an impression but in second half he has been portrayed as a caricature still he managed the expressions right. The love story is of completely off track with indigestible change of heart is involved in it. The lead pair looks indifferent with Pallavi Sharda's stiff expressions and mannerisms; she looks distant and dances violently. On the other hand Rishi-Neetu chemistry looks better than Ranbir-Pallavi.Like "Dabangg", Besharm also tries to create the room for some gravity-defying action sequence in mostly in the ware house but does not offer anything new. Rishi Kapoor suddenly becoming Sunny Deol looks atrocious as he pulls out the freaking hand pump is atrocious and awkward. You do have to brace yourself for forced songs in every 15 minutes, it annoys you more and leaves no stone unturned to ruins whatsoever remains. You will forget the songs as soon as it finishes and movie goes to the next frame.Ranbir Kapoor took the affliction on his shoulders to maintain the graph of the character which he does brilliantly nonetheless. Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor do the usual stuff effortlessly. Jaaved Jaaferi is really good and leaves a mark for his upcoming films. All the efforts go in vain because nothing is memorable due to the weak script and narrative. In a nut shell, you will only like it if you have lost faith that there are some good movies.
