Don't Believe the Hype
Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
View MoreWhile it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
View MoreIt really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
View MoreIs it me or is Bill Bailey just getting better and better? I liked this show an awful lot and I would even dare say it is better than 'Part Troll'. His rants, wordplay, jokes, musical intermezzo's flow into each other with an incredible naturalistic ease which makes it all seem so effortless. Bailey has created a niche in stand-up comedy which has no comparison and makes his shows quite unique. The only small problem was that he sometimes references British celebrities unknown to me or other non-Brits and that he sometimes speaks quite fast in his limey accent which makes it sometimes difficult to understand without subtitles. But his shows are one of the few stand-up comedy shows where I really laugh out loud (insert LOL joke from the show). If you're a fan of stand-up comedy or Bill Bailey you won't be disappointed!
