The greatest movie ever made..!

Instant Favorite.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

To cash in on all of the "real world" hype of the events in the first film, a man from Burkitsville, Maryland opens a "Blair Witch Hunt" tour, which shows patrons various locations from the original film. A bunch of college students decide to take the tour, and wind up in Rustin Parr's house. The first Blair Witch was far from a masterpiece and unfortunately this movie was far from a good sequel as well. I mean awful dialogue, terrible acting and an even worse story that the delivery feels like it's all over the freaking place to begin with, please don't see it.

This shameless cash grab tries to ride the success of the box office smash indie film but utterly fails. This campy horror film is difficult to watch. The movie does nothing to scare or create any tension that was ever present in the first film. The creators thought they could throw whatever on the screen and capitalize on the past success but all this movie does is make a shameful movie that everyone involved most likely wanted to forget as soon as it was released.Book of Shadows has nothing to do with any book that I could recall though I stopped paying close attention before the first hour was over. The movie stresses that this movie is involved with the first one with news story praising the success of the first film. The setting is the same Maryland woods as the characters are fanatics of the real film. The group goes out there and experiences the same phenomenon. It is a wonder that the first film could make this local so haunting and the second feels like a spoof film canceling out all the dread that was steadily built. Nothing scary happens at all during the initial scenes.Check out more of this review and others at swilliky.com

I literally don't understand why this film was hated. I mean it wasn't great but it wasn't bad. I thought it was good and at least it followed the original one. That's what I look for in a sequel. If it follows the original movie. And like the person I am, I did research on the original and it wasn't true. The directors and the people that made the movie lied to the actors believing that the movie was based on a true which it wasn't. Which in the end doesn't surprise me that they lied. There were some stupid parts here and there but it wasn't bad like what metascore rated the movie and what other users have said. So in the end, it's a 50/25/25 shot, some may like it a lot, some may prefer the original because it was awful, some may think it wasn't bad and I'm part of the 25%. I thought the movie wasn't bad.

How disappointing to the fans of the first Blair witch movie. That the sequel is scary. I on other hand do not see the point to horror movie that is not scary and just stupid. I would rather see a horror movie that is scary. This movie has a great story line. This movie also has great acting. Do not bother with the boring Blair witch project. Skip that awful movie and just see this one. This movie is not for the fans of the Blair witch project. It for people who like really scary movies. The best thing about the first one is that it is a precursor to this movie. Some people go looking for some other who went missing in the Blair witch project and come face to face with evil. This is not a found footage movie. And the Blair witch project fans care about that. I do not.
