Bridget Jones's Baby Trailers View All

After breaking up with Mark Darcy five years earlier, Bridget Jones' happily-ever-after hasn't quite gone according to plan. Fortysomething and single again, she decides to focus on her job as top news producer and surround herself with old friends and new. For once, Bridget has everything completely under control. Then her love life takes a turn - while a weekend away at a music festival, she meets a dashing American named Jack, who is everything Mark is not, and spends a night with him. A week later, she runs into newly-separated Mark, and has a one-night dalliance. In an unlikely twist, she finds herself pregnant, but with one hitch - she's not sure of the identity of her baby's father - Mark or Jack.

After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.

I have always loved Patrick Dempsey. Now I love Colin Firth more. This is a great movie. I olny recently watched all 3 movies. They are hilarious. It touches on what a women goes through as someone who is single and pregnant. I am glad that they picked the ending that they did. Not sure if I would have liked it as much if he didn't turn out to be the father. Glad that everyone put aside their differences and all worked together. Love it love it love it.

I did like many gags that were hilarious, some less so. I found the film storyline rather predictable but tagged along for the good jokes. The last third was getting much less funny, more predictable but it needed to wrap up somehow.

If you want to see a movie that is both light, and fun, this is the movie to watch. Renée Zellweger did an incredible job with her British accent, from an American point of view. I enjoyed the nuances of work life, and personal life, including the latest technology. I don't normally watch movies of this type, but decided to try it as the trailer looked appealing. Colin Firth, Patrick Dempsey, Gemma Jones, and Emma Thompson were a great combination of characters for this particular show.

The first was good, thoroughly enjoyable, even with her dreadful English accent! the second was OK, her dreadful English accent never improved and this the third film? This the third film is really bad on a par with how awful her English accent is! I will say this for it though, for all of the foreigners (mainly Americans) that have attempted an English accent it is better than a lot of others. Better than a lot of others does not mean good and it is not good! the film is about as boring and unfunny as it can possibly get. It is so bad that I am typing this while it is playing on my TV! The whole as-thin-as-it-can-be who's-the-father storyline is preposterous and guess who she ends up marrying?! oh, and you never do find out who the baby's father is but then as she ends up marrying the obvious I guess you are supposed to think he is the father but you never know!
