Colin McCormack thinks he has it all - a great job, a steady stream of hot younger guys, and a best friend whose devotion he takes for granted. But when a charming and mercurial intern sweeps him off his feet, Colin sees a chance for something more: A family of his own. What he discovers instead is a shattering secret that may cost Colin everything -- and everyone -- he holds dear.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.

I started watching this movie thinking it would be just another romantic gay themed comedy movie. But after a few minutes in it I understood that I couldn't be more wrong. Yes it was romantic and funny at times but the core of this movie lied elsewhere. It's about love, friendship and family, the kind of family you choose to have in life. And the twist at the end comes as a shock both to the protagonists and the audience. The film was heartwarming and bittersweet and the performances were just on point. Gerald McCullouch delivers a truly compelling performance and Dan Via (whom I watched for the first time and I hope I see more of him in the future) did a brilliant job making his character believable and realistic. And they had a great chemistry together. Also Gerrald McCullouch proves himself to be a great director as well who can handle a subject as difficult as this one. Wish more movies like this were produced. 10/10

I catch myself rewatching this film time and time again. I can't help but fall in love with Colin McCormack, played by ruggedly handsome Gerald McCullouch; he is a happy go lucky, charming, compassionate, romantic at heart who extends his warm and furry embrace to Thaddeus "T" Bloom, played by perfectly awkward Jaime Cepero. T's extremely calculated persistence and tenaciousness to get Colin's attention, illustrates the spell we often endure and lengths we stretch to get to know that special someone. Colin's desire and willingness to comfort, love, and take care of T is endearing, and the relationship which develops between them is so rich and warm. Colin's best friend and neighbor, Stuart, played by comical and handsome Dan Via, provides remarkable insight for the immense value of long lasting relationships; Stuart portrays the very special friend who helps unearth our best intentions, slap us when we need it, brush off our shoulders and back while lifting us up after falling down, and welcomely intrudes in different episodes of our lives which are (to him) need to know! The story is raw and emotional, and the talented cast give it life, while surpassing the incredible twist. Gerald McCullouch directed the hell out of this film, all the while showing off and infusing all the special elements essential for the making of a timeless and thrilling film.

I think it's something different story i've seen in this year. I'm always careless about actors. The most valuable part for me is script , acting , story, drama , emotions. Movie is not just for time pass. It's a mirror of our life or like a short view of others life stories. some times we learn , some times we laugh , some times we cry and some times even it gives us a solution and many hints to solve many problems.. (too bad some peoples get it negatively some times) THIS MOVIE HAS IT ALL !!!!The film actors Colin McCormack and Stewart Wisniewski, two gay men in their late 40s. Longtime friends whose relationship has taken on many of the emotional undercurrents and routines of a non-sexual marriage. Story starts out as a relatively light comedy and soon turns to a very dramatic and emotional story.. Their bond is tested when Colin begins dating an intelligent and brilliant intern younger man( Tee Bloom ) with whom Colin fall in love. But the young man has dark secret,he will take Colin from the skies of success, and throw him in the dark recesses, but when it blurt.. all hell breaks loose in everyone's lives.Overall i think its a great movie to watch. until you see it you won't understand.. DADDy is not just a Movie, also a fantastic film. Don't know about others but i've watched it like 3 or 4 times and i understood the hints and main messages of this movie..I wanna thanks to full team of this movie .. Well Done !! Specially well wishes for Director : Mr.Gerald McCullouch , story writer : Mr. Dan Via and Music composer : Mr. Rob Gokee :) best of luck for upcoming works guys...hoping on you guys for giving us some more interesting works <3 <3 <3

This was a pretty awesome film. I almost watched it twice back to back but I felt that this movie is really a treasure and I didn't want to wear it out. If you haven't seen it, please watch it. Gerald McCullouch gave such an amazing performance that I actually cried 3 times. I seriously thought I was made of sand on the inside...but this movie proved me wrong. At the end...when the drama came to light, I was so shocked. My immediate thought was "how is this actor going to pull this off" but there was so much raw emotion in that scene but Gerald McCullouch did it and he did it so well. I couldn't even imagine what he must have been feeling to do that scene. I think I cried the most at that part because not only did he just lose his lover but so much confusion and craziness to think about...It was kind of...brilliant. I had not heard of Gerald McCullouch before but he instantly became one of my new favorite actors/directors. I will watch this film again for sure.
