A starring vehicle for someone who calls himself Johnny Strong. (Note: His next vehicle may be a a Uber.) Classic Zombie nonsense fun. There a few plot holes and of course convenient "missed shots" from the guy who never misses. And the occasional ignoring of the movies own zombie rules. This "fast zombie" shoot'em up has zombies that burn up in the sunlight faster than the supporting actors do. Female lead Chelsea Edmundson is not on screen enough. She has that right combination of pretty and tough. There's a good supporting cast including Lance "workaholic" Heneiksen. And Hakeem Kae-Kazim (Black Sails and Hotel Rwanda). I forgot how many stars I gave this flick. In the time it took me write this review I have forgotten much of the movie.... Mmmm maybe that's why they keep making more Zombie movies.

Yet another in the endless stream of zombie movies that Hollywood is churning out.The zombies want to kill the healthly people. The people want to kill the zombies. A zombie bite makes you into a zombie. That's the whole plot. Then just people running from zombies, killing zombies. Zombies biting and killing people. On and on and on.That's about it. If this gore grabs you, watch it. You looking for a real movie with a plot? Pass on it.

The entire thing was predictable... The acting was just bad. I love the films but this should not have been made. Watched it on Starz...

This zombie-vampire combo flick had plenty of action - lots of gunfire, blood-spurts, gore, screams and knife-play! It was fun and entertaining and exactly what someone viewing this type of movie would expect. The zombie-vampire things are fast - really fast. And just to make things a bit more complicated, there's an Alpha zombie-vampire-thing that can direct the other zombie things. So, yeah, that was pretty ridiculous, but whatever. The script was well done, the action scenes really well done and the acting was good - except for Ms. Chelsea Edmundson. She was just awful, really awful. She should find a new career because acting is not her thing at all. Everyone else - good job. And, yes, there was the obligatory shot of Johnny Strong's muscled-chest! That gym membership is paying off dude. Overall, a satisfying zombie-vampire flick and if there is a sequel I would watch that too!!
