In the year 1990, Iqbal Haroon Khan (Jackie Shroff) runs The Great Indian Circus in Chicago, which has fallen on bad times. Anderson's (Andrew Bicknell) bank — Western Bank of Chicago — which has lent money to Iqbal Khan, decides to close down the circus when Khan is unable to repay the loan. Young Sahir (Siddharth Nigam), the little son of Iqbal Khan, pleads with Anderson not to shut down his father's circus, as he and his father would soon be able to turn the corner. But Iqbal Khan's presentation before the bankers and Sahir's pleas don't help. Iqbal Khan commits suicide in front of the heartless Anderson, leaving Sahir devastated. Now in 2013, Sahir (Aamir Khan) has still not forgotten the high- handedness of the bank and swears revenge. He robs various branches of Western Bank of Chicago, leaving behind a message in Hindi and a clown mask. During the chase, he runs from top to the bottom of the Western Bank of Chicago building. Print PageFrom the beginning, the "Dhoom" films have invited comparison to the "Fast & Furious" franchise, with John Abraham's charismatic villain/antihero in the first giving way to Hrithik Roshan's even more charismatic variation in the hugely successful sequel. One feature unique to the "Dhoom" series, though, most decidedly continued in the third and latest installment, is the ostensible heroes—tough cop Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan), and his crook- turned-cop partner Ali Akbar (Uday Chopra)—being mentioned secondarily, if at all. In the first film, John Abraham was simply more interesting than they were, but over time, the series has evolved consciously into an exploration—between action sequences and songs—of the antihero as an archetype, with bigger and bigger stars cast. In "Dhoom: 2," it was Hrithik Roshan, and now, in "Dhoom: 3," no less a worthy than Aamir Khan.

Before I start I'd like to say that I picked a Bollywood film because I will not be in this class second semester and really wanted to watch this film. I also had it cleared through Mrs. Ohoro. This film was by far the best film I watched for this this class in my opinion. The film was so complex that at times it made no sense but when you finally put the pieces together and they click it's truly amazing what the director did. This movie was filled with action and was not slow which I liked about it. Some of the stunts in this movie are incredible obviously they were edited but still. I had many favorite parts of the movie (spoiler). One of them is when you finally realize how they are doing the heists through magic. The actor has a twin in this movie but he doesn't have a twin in real life so the actor does a really good job at playing both of the roles. The main actor plays the twin brothers and one of them is autistic and is put under a lot of rules and restrictions by the older brother so that their secret does not get out and so that they can continued to do their heists and magic shows. I started to feel bad at the end of the film because the autistic brother finally falls involve with this girls but the other brother puts a lot of restrictions on him and her. I forgot to mention that the brothers have these really cool motorcycles that can basically do everything. At the end of the film the director ends the film with a scene that was very similar to the starting seen to resemble that the brothers will always stick together no matter what and it was great. I would highly recommend this film to anyone thinking about watching it.

This movie is so bad so bad that it really is the worst of the series. Aamir khan is in the movie may be due to two reasons. 1.He was offered an amount he cant refuse 2.He was requested by the producers (maybe his relation with the producers are good & he did it just for them)What irritates me the most is that how come such a garbage like movie gets made?Logic is 0,story is 0 & script is 0 direction is almost non existent. They are showing action taking place in almost empty streets of new york & some other parts of USA (or other countries). Also if you have seen a lot of movies you can easily realise that a shooting is going on I mean you won't feel you are watching a movie you will feel like you are watching a movie shooting or behind the scenes. If the makers wanted to show the shooting of a bollywood film in USA then they should have made a documentary on that subject I am sure it would have been more interesting than this movie. Only good thing in this movie is the music. Rest all useless boring crap. Don't watch this movie. Its worst than an average indie film.
