The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
View MoreAt first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
View MoreGo in cold, and you're likely to emerge with your blood boiling. This has to be seen to be believed.
View MoreIt’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
View MoreA wolf is lamenting his lot while working his job cleaning windows outside a high-rise office building. As he cleans one window his perspective shifts to clearly see those inside and he is amazed to see an entire company of sheep working in the office. Imagining only how great it would be to get on the inside, the wolf applies for a job, however his plans take a backseat once he is successful. It is worth remembering that this short film is the work of Spanish art student because as such it is a very impressive piece of work despite its short comings. The animation is what will perhaps make you forget this since it is very well done and also moves around very well, with some very good cuts and montage moments. The lack of sharpness in this aspect is not too much but in the comedy it is more evident. The basic blocks are all there as the wolf is integrated and a cool female sheep helps him, this is all nicely comic but, if you forgive the lazy choice or words, it doesn't have much in the way or teeth or heart. Instead it feels pretty superficial – amusing for sure but never as clever or funny as the scenario could have been. There are sight gags in there to add value round the details but you understand the difference in writing standards when you compare those of Pixar-standard films to the rather obvious ones in here (just sticking "sheep" into the wording of movie posters in the background for example)It is still worth a look because for a student project it has a lot of good about it, with pretty slick animation and a nice amusing idea, but it is hard to ignore that a sharper script and some cleverer gags would have helped.
