Halloween Kills was released on October 15, 2021, to a critical FLOP. With The Oscars on the way, the director of Halloween Kills, David Gordon Green, commissioned teen prodigy: Mason Martucci to edit a cut of a film for its Oscar campaign. David would have done it himself, but right before he was supposed to start work on the edit, his face started to fall off of his face and he was rushed to the ER to get a facelift for his face.
