Good movie, but best of all time? Hardly . . .

Logan

By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

A charming tale of two despicably self centred losers who manage to team up and enjoy a happy ending.Fun, if you can get past the unpleasantness of the two central characters and our boy loves it. Obviously

Couldn't move, and had to watch something on tv.It was played in november..Bad acting, bad voice acting, bad script for a movie. Basically a 1 hour and 35 minutes cringe marathon. I feel so embaressed for James Marsden, how could he lower himself to this?

The plot of the film Hop is made up of two clichéd story elements. Cliché 1, the kid who doesn't want to follow his fathers wishes and sets off to be independent. Cliché 2, the number two guy who has a diabolical scheme to get rid of the boss so he can take over. Put that together and then relate this whole thing to Easter and this is what Hop is. Okay I guess I shouldn't be too hard on it because I admit this did make me laugh, but I get the feeling that it's missing something. The two plots are as follows EB (Russell Brand) or Easter Bunny Jr. is next in line to take over the big Easter Bunny business as retiring time for the current Easter Bunny (Hugh Laurie). But EB doesn't want to be part of what his father wants and goes to Hollywood to become a singer. Meanwhile Fred O'Hare (James Marsden) is a human teenager who has to get a job. While driving he comes across EB and after settling their differences they become friends. Meanwhile Easter Bunny Sr. sends out a group of bunnies to find EB, and his assistant Carlos (Hank Azaria) an overgrown chick decides this is the perfect time to overthrow Bunny Sr. and become the Easter Bunny. But he's defeated and yeah that's about all this movie has. I guess it's not a bad film as it did make me laugh here and then but I just got the feeling that not much effort was put into it to make it original. I can recommend this over some of the other films I've seen but yeah. It's really just average.

Even though I thought Hop as a movie was pretty average, the animation is superb (especially watching on Blu-Ray) and the combination between live action & animation is done really well.I usually cannot stand Russell Brand either, but I must admit that he was really good as the voice for E.B. A few other characters including Hank Azaria as the voice for Carlos were pretty well done also, and one of the much more enjoyable scenes was when Fred O'Hare pretends to be a ventriloquist with E.B. while singing I Want Candy.Unfortunately, though, I thought the humour was slightly lacking overall, but if you have young kids and you enjoy movies like Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Stuart Little and Alvin And The Chipmunks then I'm sure Hop will be a hit.
