Who payed the critics
I was totally surprised at how great this film. You could feel your paranoia rise as the film went on and as you gradually learned the details of the real situation.
View MoreSimple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.
View MoreThe acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.
View MoreMovie is watchable. It isn't Gone With the Wind or even Top Gun, but it is fun. That's all of my review of the movieI recommend that all of the negative reviews be tossed because the content proves that none of them watched the movie. Did all of ya'll (Yeah, I'm from Dixie) get together and decide to pan this movie as an addition to your pointless evening? You can't spell either.Get a life.BTW I was an Air Force officer and a flier. The enlisted guy can call me Sir or Colonel.
View MoreThis movie was good at least I thought so. I liked the way they brought Doug back into the story, but I wish they got the same actor who played him in the first movie but oh well. Some elements of the movie were kinda silly, like the fact that 2 guys and a bunch of kids single handedly took down some evil plot or the fact they tried to accomplish this by using outdated planes. I found that If you don't look to much into the story, Iron Eagle IV makes for a good time killer. It also helps not to know which movie it is. I at had only seen the first movie so I assumed that Iron Eagle IV was Iron Eagle II. Maybe this helped make it a good movie. If I were to have known it was Iron Eagle IV I might not have watched it, but I'm glad I did.
View MoreChappy turns to Doug Masters for help dealing with flight school misfits... kind of funny, considering Doug Masters was blown up in midair within the first two minutes of "IRON EAGLE II", so how is he there to help Chappy out? The first movie is a classic 1980's us-versus-the-terrorists flick, and done back when Louis Gossett Jr. actually had a career. It also showcased a young Jason Gedrick, who is sorely missed here. This is one of those franchises where 1. there should have been no sequels, 2. the entire cast save the wisened old codger has changed, 3. it gets worse and worse as it goes on, ala the Delta Force/American Ninja/Kickboxer franchises.
View MoreAs someone else commented why was doug master in this movie he was blown up in the second which involved russian anyway. so if he was alive that should have been the plot for the second one. the third one did not make since at all. this one was good in all since but having a dead kid who does not even inform his parents that he is still alive did not make any sense. the actor who played doug was not good at all.
