Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

View MoreJohn Leguizamo is a genius. His ability to to spin out funny and touching tales is truly one of the most amazing things I've ever had the pleasure to witness. I originally saw the show before its Broadway run and before the show was taped for HBO and through a good portion of it I was hoping that some one would record it since I was laughing so hard I was missing a good portion of it.It is with some regret that I watched the HBO version of the show. While its mostly the same show I saw several months before I found it less funny thanks to the tightening of the material for Broadway and TV. (The show I saw ran about an hour longer than what is on tape) This isn't to say that the show isn't good, it is, its just that should you ever get the chance to see him live run as fast as you can since that is the best way to experience his magic.
View MoreI loved Sexaholics just as much as I did Freak. The funniest part was when he was making fun of his grandfather for falling in the toilet. I love John in almost everything he does. I hope that someday they put his live performances out on video so that everyone can see them. In my opinion he is like a Latin George Carlin in that John is just as funny as he is.
View Morejohn lequizamo's sexaholic is hilarious. not better then freak but pretty damn close. he acts out his show so well you would think he is doing a drama and a comedy. that's how great of an actor he is. it has to be hard what he does. be right on time with charcters he plays and imagines that their there talkin to him a great standup. View Morejohn leguizamo doesn't need anybody to write a script for him. that would be a step down. his hbo special was one of the funniest things i have ever seen. it reminded me of eddie murphy's "delirious." john's amazing comedic talent was only a few steps ahead of his mad dancing skills. one of the many things i loved about the whole production was his ability to make a joke at his own expense. nothing was held back and that's what i enjoyed most.
