One of the best films i have seen

if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.

Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

I tend to rate on a bell curve, so compared to other movies with amazing stories, beautiful cinematography, innovating editing, this movies defiantly would be more of a 5/10 but as a mid 00's romantic comedy this movies surpassed mt expectations.Just Friends hits the mark perfect mark of sarcastic over the top comedy that would follow a post clueless teen audience into their early adulthood. Ryan Reynolds' comedic timing fits perfectly with Anna Faris' over the top pop star, filling in quite nicely for a mediocre plot.So while this is not the best movies out there, this is defiantly the right movie for a lazy night of laughs.

Just Friends is a rather funny comedy simply due to the presence of Ryan Reynolds and the chemistry he has with both Amy Smart and to a latter extent Anna Faris. The film is harmless which is a good thing, since in many situations such as these real life occurrence, the film could have been far more juvenile and mean spirited. This is a problem for a comedy that centers a romantic relationship. When the focus is on other things, emotions don't matter so much, and oh, what a fun time we have. But then we come back around to the real plot, and nothing about these people's emotions seems real.Set in a simple but working plot which is set ten years after he graduated from high school a fat loser whose true love only wanted to be his friend, Chris Brander is now a record-label executive whose smarmy, womanizing ways go over in shallow L.A. Although we might already know what the end will turn out like (most romantic comedies are predictable), and simply by viewing the trailer, the journey and overall adventure is what makes this film better than it should be and better than several rom-coms. Worth a watch. As a rewatch 07/11/18' Just Friends remains a good hearted somewhat entertaining comedy. The short run time makes the film less drag on.

Just Friends stars Ryan Reynolds in a fat suit who plays Chris, the nice high school nerd who wants to declare his love for hot babe Jamie (Amy Smart) at the graduation party.Jamie likes Chris only as a friend which means platonic only relationship, no sex. Feeling humiliated Chris leaves his New Jersey town vowing never to return.Ten years later, Chris is a successful musical executive. He is thin, rich, handsome and a womaniser. However when he is sent to sign an emerging but spoilt pop star (Anne Faris) ends up in his home town with her when the plane is forced to make an emergency landing.Chris hooks up with his old friends, some are older, fatter and balding. He also sees Jamie and plans to impress her but it always ends up in disaster and humiliation for Chris.Just Friends is an easy going and charming comedy with a few good laughs. It is really a starring vehicle for Reynolds which did OK but not brilliantly in the box office.Reynolds hams it up in the fat suit, sings Backstreet Boys songs but even when thin, he cannot escape his past nerdiness which rather inverts this type of film where the geek becomes the Greek god.

Watched about an hour of this trash before I turned it off, absolute trash. Go outside and enjoy your life you will have way more fun than watching this movie. Not sure what other reviewers were watching by saying this is a good film, I guess the quality of films have sunk so low people just don't know what is a good or bad film.Plot is stupid and acting is bad.
