What a waste of my time!!!
a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
View MoreAt first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
View MoreThis is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
View MoreWith a poll taking place on IMDbs Classic Film board for the best movies of the year 2000,I started looking round for flicks to view from the year, and I ended up stumbling upon a film which sounded like a real sleaze fest!,which led to me getting ready to see Kyoko face Yuki. The plot:Finishing her assassin training,Kyoko is given the task of tracking down a thief who has stolen a suitcase filled with cash & cocaine.Meeting her for sex,Yuki turns the tables on the thief,by inviting her lover Maki so that they can tie the guy up.After having sex,Yuki and Maki kill the guy,and take the suitcase that he had.Opening the case,Yuki is delighted to find it filled with cash, which can used to pay the debt that Maki's sister left.As Yuki gets set to pay Maki's debt,Kyoko discovers that 2 girls have taken her targets suitcase.View on the film:Rushing past at a quick 52 minutes, the screenplay by writer/director Daisuke Yamanouchi keeps everything at face value,as Yamanouchi's brittle dialogue gets Kyoko's training and Yuki's thieving to lead to a disappointingly abrupt cliff-hanger ending.Whilst the ending does let the film down, Yamanouchi makes up for it by giving the screenplay a rather deep cut of sleaze, which goes from Kyoko's hand being chopped off,to Yuki having sex with a corpse.Although the movie surprisingly does not contain that much gore, Yamanouchi makes up for it with the exposure of skin.Ripping up Yuki's schoolgirl outfit, Yamanouchi tracks every part of naked flesh, which despite being covered in terribly over done "slurping" sound effects, still contain a sexy spark thanks to the alluring looks of the cast.Final view on the film:A film that is far from being Yuki.
View MoreAnother rare to find entry in the Japanese splatter scene. Over here in Europe and in the US it never had a proper release and if you can catch it then it's still spoken in Japanese without subtitles. It only clocks in at an hour but it's worth a catch for a few reasons. This is on the edge of softcore because this time nothing is blurred although you never see their underneath. But on the other hand there are a few softcore scene's that aren't for the easily offended. One lesbian scene involves necrophilia. On part of the gore the red stuff sputters all around and even on bodies. The slashing and killing is mostly done off-screen so gorehounds shouldn't watch this. It delivers for every ones taste, weird story.Gore 2/5 Nudity 3/5 Effects 2/5 Story 2/5 Comedy 0/5
View MoreMainly all girl bloody violence and soft core sex, but men get beaten to a pulp too.Familiar looking Japanese streets and landscapes, schoolgirls in uniform and crunching violence with gushing results.Little extra treats include a severed hand plus it's re-attachment by the girl herself who decides to add a few metal shears while she's at it.An umbrella down the throat, over sized Kentucky fried chicken eating lady in net body stocking, plus strap on, plus, plus, plus Oh, and my very first lesbian necrophilia scene.
View More"Kyoko vs Yuki" is another cheap exploitation flick made by Daisuke Yamanouchi, the guy behind "Red Room" series or "Mu Zan E".The aforementioned movies are much better than this silly exercise in bad taste.Basically "Kyoko vs Yuki" is about two Japanese girls(one of them is a schoolgirl trained to be killer and another one is a lesbian)fighting with each other with incredibly bloody results. The film offers plenty of lesbian sex/necrophilia and some sickening gore, but the acting is really horrible.I must say that I had always had a problem with SOV stuff, because it looks crap.Japanese filmmakers are usually very good with this medium as they use high-quality equipment and often make films such as "Toriko" or "Naked Blood".Unfortunately this is not the case with "Kyoko vs Yuki".Still if you are into gore or sadistic Japanese horror give this one a look.6 out of 10.
