This is not a good film...it tries..and fails. The main problem i have is the acting, she is OK, he is terrible. the narration sounds like an asthmatic describing a sex fantasy, with the whole thing filmed in the style of a marks and Spencer's summer clothing advert. The sex scenes involve watching ming the merciless give a ginger bird a breast exam for an hour whilst occasionally flashing his not so large penis. Apparently this film was an exploration of relationship,love and desire. I assume the makers gave up looking and decided to go for a few drinks and left the film up to a group of sex-offenders trying to turn over a new leaf. I turned myself on by turning this off and masturbated to the sound of my refrigerator in the dark....now that was hot.

i have seen a lot of soft core films got a great collection at home but this fall flat it is spectacularly boring i say.starting Lauren lee smith in lie with me 2005 plot:Leila have sex with random men she meets David & things goes as usual things don't work out between them.i saw this film few days back as a regular user of IMDb & a reviewer i always lookout of new and old films.but when i saw the reviews & IMDb page of this film i raised my expectations & thats where i fell for it its a old film made in 2005 I've seen 80s soft core films they are gold compared to this this is pure rubbish & its promoted as a erotic film but there is no erotic scenes in this film except one on the bed & sofa,it was shot very badly all in dark with limited usage of light.the director tried to present it as a art film but failed.it was released in a hurry i guess.a good example of bad filmmaking.the dialogs & cast don't matter because everything just got ruined by the director,for those who are looking for hot scenes just by looking at the poster they will be disappointed.my rating is 1/10 die with me or just waste time with me should be the name of this film..Skipp it at all cost not wort watching

I just watched this movie and automatically the first thing that popped into my head was .Lifetime special ,this was horrible even from a lifetime perspective .The main actress isn't interesting her male co star isn't interesting either .At times i wonder what why he was even there. For anyone who sits there's and says this is about love and relationships .You need to get your head checked this is about sex plain and simple . i kind of got the feeling of this being a lazy effort to resemble last tango .Fail big time at least tango had actual talented actors .I guess in a way this movie suits the talent or lack there of.Nothing artistic at all about this the director needs a serious reality check.When are people like this going to be banned from trying to pass pornographic films off art ? its insulting

This is a lovely movie. It's very sexy and timeless. Lie with portrays 2 people who both like sex and know how to use their bodies who both begin a journey where they look beyond their physicality.Leila is an extremely sexually confident woman who over the film, gets to know more about herself, finds a space for love once she overcomes her fears with the right guy. She may well challenge perceptions even now of what is acceptable for men and women because she is so sexually ''out there''.Both characters are beautiful to watch on screen. The sex scenes are shot really well, are sensitive, sensual but never feel pornographic in my opinion. Eric Balfour looks amazing and I expect a lot of people (including me) will have a crush on him after watching this! Watch this movie with an open mind.There is a lot here to think about and read between the lines with. It asks questions about the different types of love that people engage in. That sex can transcend/manifest into something else and shows how 2 people who both have fears about where their relationship is heading, learn more about what they truly want.Both characters look like they know the very first time they see each other that they connect; the fact that the movie allows the viewer to learn what they do with a fairly loose script (which works) speaks for itself in my opinion. It also covers a very small niche in the movie market for people wanting a movie with romance, is erotic, crosses boundaries, deals with human desire but done tastefully and sensually.
