I love this movie starring the late Brittany Murphy. Little Black Book was a romantic and true movie to watch. I bought the DVD of this movie and I watched it with my family and friends. We all loved it! Some of the movie clips were hilarious to watch. I loved the part in the film where she got nervous and broke the fax machine with her baseball bat. That part was hilarious to watch! This is one of my top favorite movies. The acting was good and this movie had a comedic and funny approach to it. It shows us that life can sometimes be a bit strange but we just go with the flow. I would recommend this movie to anybody who appreciates a bit of reality and a bit of comedy in between.

"Little Black Book" is like a light-weight character study more than a romantic comedy. The late Brittany Murphy is in the lead, and I enjoyed her and the introduction to her character. I also enjoyed all of the supporting actors. I enjoyed it so much upon first viewing, that I bought the DVD.After multiple viewings though, the so-called charming aspects become quite grating. It's very manipulative and when its true colours show through, you see how much is not to like. Although captivating, the main female characters don't have many good qualities, too controlling and dominating. The minor female characters are paper-thin and boring.The screenplay manipulates us too much, and our empathies (if we actually have any) are forced from where they would naturally lie. I do like the overall story of Murphy's character, but then it's no longer a romantic comedy, and there's not enough to recommend "Little Black Book".

I went into this movie not expecting an epic (come on!), but at least a halfway decent film to take my mind off things for an hour and a half. And, after wasting that hour and a half on this pathetic excuse for a rom-com, all I can say is: wow. I didn't think it was possible for a movie to be this bad, even after seeing Rumor Has It... (side note- don't see that one either!) I can usually put up with Brittany Murphy- I loved Uptown Girls- but she got on my last nerve. The plot was clumsily thrown together, and for a supposed comedy, I laughed out loud exactly once (at the phone smashing bit- gotta admit, that was hilarious). Even some die-hard fans of this movie admit the ending was one of the worst in romantic comedy history, and as a complete non-fan, it was just appalling. The only part I appreciated even a little bit was the way the writer avoided the trap of having Bean and Stacy get together. But overall, without a doubt one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I was skeptical towards this one but I'm pleased to say that I enjoyed it big time. I'm the kind of guy that tends to be jealous or uncomfortable about my ex-girlfriends' ex-lovers or boyfriends.So this movie talks about the same but vice-versa,; I mean, now the girlfriend is jealous over her boyfriend's past ex-girlfriends so she decides to investigate about their lives. She meets a beautiful, tender, smart, Doctor, a hot sex addict super model, and some others. Meanwhile she gets the job she always dreamed about and she seems to be having a perfect life. Everything changes when her inner fears and her supposedly best friend betrays her. Oh poor Brittany... She feels uncomfortable and insecure but at least she realizes that she does not needs to know anything about his boyfriend's like EXCEPT that she is not the one for him.Funny movie with romantic over tones and decent acting. Kathy Bates and Holly Hunter deliver good performances although their potential is not exploited at it's full. I need to get this off my chest: I totally think Holly Hunter's voice is very, very sexy.The situations are interesting enough to keep you interested on the movie. I can't say if it's a chick flick or something... On my defense, I watched it on late cable night on SKY.Another successful move by the sexy Brittany Murphy.
