London Paris New York is a film that captures the angst of the twenties, the most dramatic period of one's life - when you have to find a career, you have your first significant relationship and most importantly form your identity in this world. This is story about Lalitha, a middle class south Indian girl from Chembur (an eastern suburb in Mumbai) who is on her way to New York to study politics with full scholarship, and Nikhil, a Punjabi, rich kid from Bandra (a posh western suburb of Mumbai) who is going to study Film Making in London on 100% dad's money. They decide to hangout together one evening in London and find that they are completely drawn to each other even as their future lies on separate continents. The film follows their personal journey and their love story as they meet in London, Paris and New York for a night each over eight years. The film is in three chapters and each chapter is shot in a manner that mirrors the mental state of Nikhil and Lalitha.

I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.

Giving the devil its due "London Paris New York" manages to shine primarily because of the chemistry between the protagonists - Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari. It cannot be refuted that both have put in some serious homework before each shot was canned. Its evident that "London Paris New York" looked promising on paper, and Bollywood's answer to "When Harry Met Sally". Sadly the writing failed to translate the effect on the celluloid. The running time is about 100-minutes which gives an impression that the editing was super crisp, making you wish that certain parts should have been elaborated for the emotion to sink into the audience. The three distinct looks in each chapters have been worked upon quite well. In terms of songs "Voh Dekhnay Mein" by Ali Zafar stands out while the rest seem force fit. Ali Zafar gets the entire canvas to showcase his talent and he utilises the opportunity quite well. He emulates Shah Rukh Khan but that shouldn't steal the thunder from this budding artiste. If not anything this movie should make the film fraternity to take notice of "Yeh Saali Zindagi" girl Aditi Rao Hydari. The supporting cast should have been done away completely (infact Dalip Tahil in a miss and blink role comes across tad stupid).Anu Menon certainly knows to hold the directorial reigns and is a candidate to watch out for.

Guy met a girl at London airport. They spent entire day together. They fall in by the end of the day. They met again in Paris. After sometime girl told that she hates him because he lied. Guy come to NY to meet her & come to know that she is already engaged. Later guy realized what is he loosing so he also rush to the church but found out that she has already refused to marry her fiancée.Short & sweet movie which is much better than regular bollywood movie. Aditi roa has acted really well & she carried herself in a beautiful way in the role of feminist. Ali zafar was good as usual but he has repeated dialogue which makes me bore at times. Songs are good except for one. Entire movie rotates rotates around the two and has not focused or taken into account anything not relevant which makes the movie special. Direction is amazing, without mentioning 6 months later,8 months later, director maintained to make the movie to go in one through. Script is beautiful. Dialogues are what we use in day to day life but not stereotype.

I do not want to say much about this movie it doesn't means it don't deserve it but they say picture speak thousand words so but i like to say few thing that over all this movie is a nice good entertainer you know that when a movie make on relationship then only the audience there targeting is limited to young and intellectual people so generally such kind of movies until they have big banner name along with them or big star cast does not do well at box office so same happen with this movie.i watched this movie with least expectation but i it came out to surprise this movies combination of good story line nice acting and good music.so if you are looking for nice descent entertainer should watch this movie as it is not a regular stuff but if you are looking for some great movie on relationship this you will definitely will be disappointed.

That is one of the dumb movie I have ever seen. First time in life I went to manager of hall and demand my money back. Two strangers meet in London fell in love. After two year they meet again for one day again fell in love, do sex and girl dumped him. Perhaps some people like talking style of Ali Jafar but for first time talk with a girl like this.... This is not fault of actor but director. After 5 years they met in Newyork one day before wedding of girl, again fell in love and girl broke her marriage. No story line, no acting and mostly boring direction. One Song is good and lovely Aditi Rao Hydari. In first part small comedy is there which is better then other full movie. But you can't see the full movie only for this part. This is worthless to see the movie.
