The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

Looking for some fun, a group of Londoners play with a Ouija Board and soon afterward find themselves being and stalked and killed by a malevolent spirit and must try to find a way of stopping the rampage before they all are killed. This here was quite an enjoyable effort. Among the better aspects here are the absolutely tense and thrilling stalking scenes here, which give this one a really great atmosphere in some tense scenes. The beginning séance here is pretty chilling as the growling realization of something in the room with them resulting in the surreal stalking on the roof and kill above the club, the tense stalking in the boar wondering who's around them and a rather exciting sequence where the y break into a neighbors' loft only to come across the connection to previous incidents throughout here that they have to successfully avoid the tenant to make it out safely are all rather exciting, while the bathroom stall attack as well gives this some rather exciting times. Even more fun is the final half here, as there's a really enjoyable attack in their flat where the two witnessing their tapes are convinced someone's there and must try to get out without being discovered, another thrilling Ouija board sequence that leads into the chase around the warehouse that's fun and quite creepy y and bringing up the really exciting finale where the reveal of the possessed individual brawling through the area while offering the blazing resolution that's full of action here and plays off some nice gags that make for a great time overall here. There's also the rather enjoyable way in which this one goes along with the mangled bodies around with the burn marks on their bodies that's quite gruesome and brutal, giving this some great points here over its flaws. The biggest issues here is that like most of that vintage-era United Kingdom efforts there's such a dreary pace here, even on the suspense or action scenes, to stretch this out quite far than it really should. The summoning and its aftermath take forever to get through, and there's quite a long period of time here where they go over the fates of everyone involved which really gets this on a rather bland, overall boring pace within this. The only other factor here against this one is the really easy way of the group towards the explanations offered, buying into this one pretty easily done with absolutely lame research which makes how they would know quite problematic and just a little silly. Beyond these issues, there's a lot to like here.Rated R: Graphic Language, Graphic Language and drug use.

I liked the Plot of the movie very much.I thought the movie started off really promisingI enjoyed the first 20 mins of the movie, were what normal kids do , drink , sex and they Bring the oujju board. The group end up unleashing a evil spirits. Which end killed them one by one however the deaths were really disappointing as toy only get to see the aftermath of them After the fine first death the movies drags on for far to long , which makes you lose instust and of that people are looking scared the whole time. Then it picks up for last 20 mins of the movie and they try to put so much stuff in those to much The downside to this movie was the pacing , it was all over the place . They could have spread it out more The acting was decent and I really enjoyed the last scene 4/10

There should be more British horror's like this. Before I continue, anybody who wants to watch this Movie, has not yet seen it, DO NOT pay attention to the bad comments. This film is a low budget horror and once again Britain manages to create something amazing. From the start the best actors are Alec Newman and Joe Absolom, this is what British films are about, good actors, low money made into something decent. This film is entertaining with slight comedy at times with dark scenes. 100% British in this film, there need to be moreAnyone who has not seen it and wants to, DO!!!

LONG TIME DEAD Aspect ratio: 1.85:1Sound format: Dolby DigitalDuring a Ouija session, several drunken teenagers summon a djinn which proceeds to kill them, one by one.Though clearly influenced by American horror movies, LONG TIME DEAD finds an echo in Michael Armstrong's UK thriller THE HAUNTED HOUSE OF HORROR (1969), in which bored teenagers inadvertently sparked the wrath of a deadly killer - in Armstrong's film, the villain was an all-too-human maniac, whereas Marcus Adams' updated version unleashes the forces of supernatural terror on its hapless protagonists. Alec Newman (from the TV remake of DUNE) is the unofficial leader of the group, whose father (Michael Feast) was involved in similar jiggery-pokery many years earlier, leading to several deaths witnessed by Newman as a child. The movie opened in UK theaters to scathing reviews and dismal box-office, and while the artless, multi-authored screenplay wanders aimlessly from scene to scene (the curse of so many modern horror films), it isn't nearly as bad as various reviews have suggested. Performances are uniformly fine (particularly Newman as the damaged young man forced to come to terms with his father's terrible legacy, and former soap star Joe Absolom as a potential victim), and Adams stages the various set-pieces with brisk precision, building to a fiery showdown between Newman and the unstoppable monster. The narrative makes little sense, but the movie is efficient and watchable, and amounts to passable popcorn entertainment, nothing more or less.
