I saw this movie before reading any reviews, and I thought it was very funny. I was very surprised to see the overwhelmingly negative reviews this film received from critics.

I gave this film a 9 out of 10, because it was exactly what I expected it to be.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

I must say that this my fave among Jaclyn Smith's movies --welll, with the exception of "The Bourne Identity," this is my " special fave." I remember that during this time, Smith wanted to shake her halo and do more comedy but it didn't happen. Sad to say, this is probably the lowest rated among her movies in the Nielsen chart when it was shown many "moons" ago. It was released during Christmas time and we all know it's not a good idea to have movies like this competing with any movie with Christmas stories (!!!) But in all aspects, this is I reckon is excellent. Smith is wonderful and Bernsen is an actor always worth watching on the small screen.Smith proves once and again that she is still the undisputed Queen of TV Movies!
