Dreadfully Boring
While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
View MoreA film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.
View MoreThe film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
View MoreI just saw "Love Kills" for the first time on cable on my home television; I wish that I had seen it on the big screen. I was flipping around and got hooked right away on the stylish and exciting direction, the right-on dialogue, not to mention the obviously inspired acting all around. I do feel that I must mention Loretta Devine's outstanding performance; she really went there, and took us with her.Thank you, Mario Van Peebles. I enjoyed the ride; can't wait to do it again. cheltoninla@excit
View MoreI was pleasantly surprised by this movie. what starts out as a simple scam quickly collapses into robbery, murder, mayhem and enough plot twists to satisfy anybody. Lesley Ann Warren looks (and acts) very well, and Mario Van Peebles has put together a nice gem of a movie. I recommend it to anyone who likes to keep guessing right up to the end.
View MoreThis film is a Laurel and Hardy remake, but with trash talk and smelly finger jokes. I had a high regard for the work of Leslie Ann Warren until now. Unfortunately, she has lost all self respect, and mine too. If you can get past the overuse of the f-word, which was no longer funny after the 2000th time it was shouted, you will look in vain for a plot. Pass on this one.
View MoreMario Van Peebles has proven himself again a talented actor AND director. Love Kills is a great mixture of love and mayhem, comedy and tragedy. In addition to the superb talent of Mario Van Peebles, Melvin Van Peebles has a great supporting role as Abel. After strings of action films, it's great to see Mario starring in a funny comedy.
