View MoreSorry, this movie sucks
From my favorite movies..
A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
View MoreDiscovered this movie recently and was very impressed!! Edward Furlong and Bill Sorice flow well together, and the two actors make this film! I especially liked Mr. Sorice's character and he played the role to perfection...kinda reminds me of a Joker type character with all the craziness!! A fun to watch dark comedy with several twists and a surprise ending! I will definitely be sharing this one with friends in my circle!
View MoreThis film really moved me. Good films usually do. But this one sucker-punched me. What Matt experiences is something every man, who has ever loved and lost, experiences.Edward Furlong plays this one right on the edge. You are expecting him to "go off" at anytime/all the time, and that is what kept me, figuratively, on the edge of my seat. I must admit, I did see a few seconds, here and there, of a smile reminiscent of his performance in John Waters' PECKER, (one of my favorites) but they come at the right time and make you smile as well. Anyway, you have no problem believing Matt, and like I said, every guy who's had his ass handed to him by his girlfriend, can easily relate. To me, this film is all about what do you do after the fact.Bill Sorice plays Gabor, an Eastern European gangster who slowly slithers into Matt's life like a uncoiled snake. Sorice plays it classy, but sleazy enough to keep you wondering whether or not he's going to turn deadly. He and Furlong work very well together. As for the well-seasoned members of the cast, Ms. Margot Kidder, Lee Majors and Gary Busey, their performances are top notch, as expected.I would like to give a shout for Edi Zanidache, who plays the priest. I love this guy. You will too. "Nuff Said."Last, but not least, Nicholas Gyeney, the director of this craziness. Hats off to you, sir. Matt's Chance is a good piece of work, appreciated, I'm sure, by all who get the message. The best way I can describe it is, Matt's Chance is existentially surreal.
View MoreMy wife and I really enjoyed this movie! Entertaining and fun to watch all the way through. It's very well written; as I watched it I tried to guess what was going to happen next but there were a lot of surprises and interesting turns as the movie progressed. It's one of those movies you're glued to because you know there's going to be a cool twist at the end, as you'd expect from a Nick Gyeney film (e.g. The Penitent Man). It's a good movie to watch more than once because there are things I didn't pick up on the first time through, it made the overall experience really cool after seeing it a couple times. We highly recommend this movie!
View MoreThe lead up to the end of this film was great in that it was very confusing but all came together to make great sense. Well done by all cast and crew. Getting to see Margot Kidder doing her thing after all these years was a true treat. Director Nicholas Gyeney took this team and had them grab all the right timing to make an excellent performance all the way around. And if you have yet to see this film, you with die with laughter when you see Margot Kidder rockin' it out in all her glory. Gary Busey did not need much time to bring what was needed to crush it! Ultimately, I don't think I could ever go back to getting a regular haircut after the,"Six Million Dollar Man" gave it a go! Good job, I'm looking forward to seeing what comes about next!
