That was an excellent one.
A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.
The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
View MoreStrong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
View MoreI don't know why this movie is so underrated! It was certainly one of the funniest movies I saw all of last year, and when I finally got a chance to come and rate it I see that it has a 3.8! Well, the acting isn't all that great, but the physical comedy is first rate. Lots of irons to the sides of heads and vacuum flamethrowers. And it's about eggs, come on, that gets it a good rating automatically. I bought this at Wal-Mart on the $5.50 rack, and it was the best investment I made that day. This Australian comedy flick is totally awesome, and I would suggest it to all my friends.Aqya's Rating: 10/10 Go see it! Go see it now!
View MoreCan the most naive, sweet but terribly accident prone bachelor in the world ever find love and break a couple of unpleasant bad habits at the same time? As he blunders into a devious plot to make the world of egg-users into nicotine addicts, he discovers the answer to all is Yes. Our first viewing of this movie left us smiling but not ready to place it on the "watch 100 times" shelf. However, the more we watched it, the more clever and funnier it proved itself to be. The entire roster of characters was perfectly cast. This movie was not widely distributed in the US, I suspect less to do with so-called lack of humor than it's undisguised concerns and feelings regarding cigarette smoking and addiction. I am sorry this movie was not more available to the general public: it took a long time to track down a copy of it, and I would love to share it with my sisters and their kids.
View MoreI just saw this on television and I am happy to announce that I can finally answer my nephew's question as to what is the worst film I have ever seen, at least in the comedy category. To describe this film as elementary school level would be to insult elementary school students, who I think could create something far better. Yahoo Serious has apparently gone on a well deserved march into oblivion.
View MoreI remember back in 1988 when "Young Einstein" came out and Yahoo Serious came onto the big screen. That was a classic Yahoo Serious movie. This one had it's moments, but overall lacked a consistant storyline. It jumped from place to place. All though Aussies loved this move, the US has been luke warm to it. Rock on Yahoo Serious!
