Fantastic!
Bad Acting and worse Bad Screenplay
Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

On RottenTomatoes, this film is ranked as one of the worst movies of all time with 44 negative reviews and zero positive reviews. It seems to not be that well known of a film seeing as how there's only 18 reviews here (well 19 counting mine). It's amazing that we have such a massive number of National Lampoon movies and most of them (especially the later) are horrible. It's gotten to the point where I've seen so many awful comedies I don't even really care anymore. This movie's plot has these two guys who marry these old ladies thinking they're going to inherit a fortune. They plan to kill each other.I sincerely do want to see everyone dead by the end of it. We get these two scenes where a murder attempt kills these two guys. Gee, I wonder what happens in the next scene with another failed murder attempt? Another guy dies and by being bitten on the crotch, how highbrow. 30 minutes into the movie it appears as though the old ladies die and it honestly seems like we'll have a new interesting plot. Too bad, it was all just a dream and we have to deal with the further idiocy of this film. I recognized Will Friedle in live-action as he voices Ron Stoppable from "Kim Possible". It's easy to say this is the worst thing he's ever been in. Much of the movie's humor goes through how these old women want to seduce these young men and it's as disgusting as it sounds, especially the whipped cream scene, which I don't want to elaborate on. These characters are such idiots as they throw away lemonade that they think tastes good...for some reason? I just know that after saying when life gives you lemons, she'll say you kill someone. I wish Mike Nelson had seen this as I couldn't see how anyone would stomach this more than "Little Nicky". 1/2*
View MoreThis is a pretty unfunny film that hardly made me laugh at all, with annoying performances, what happened National Lampoon?. All the characters are unfunny, and dull, and while the ending was kind of cute it was the only really decent thing about the film, plus while this film advertises Nikki Ziering heavily on the cover, she is barely to be found in the film, so that was disappointing. It also claimed it was raunchy, I was also disappointed in that department too, as it wasn't that raunchy at all, and it's pretty poorly made too, plus while I enjoyed Chris Owen as Sherman in the American Pie Films he wasn't very good at all here. Louise Lasser and Renée Taylor are fun as the Mundt's but it's not enough, and thankfully it's only over 80 minutes otherwise it would have been unbearable, plus while I usually enjoy stuff like this this just wasn't funny. I can see why this hasn't gotten all the harsh reviews, and National Lampoon really seems to bringing out crappy movies lately and this is one of them for sure!. This is a pretty unfunny film that hardly made me laugh at all, with annoying performances, and I say avoid it!. The Direction is pretty bad. Gary Preisler does a pretty bad job here with OK camera work, but keeping the film unfunny throughout!. The Acting is terrible and not very fun at all. Will Friedle is OK, but wasn't very funny, he had good chemistry with Chris Owen, but didn't really make me laugh, and was rather annoying at times. Chris Owens was funny as Sherman in the American Pie films, but here he is the exact opposite totally unfunny, it's not really his fault cause the film didn't give him much to work with, still I was very disappointed. Louise Lasser and Renée Taylor are good as The Mundt's, but that's about it, they still managed to keep the film somewhat bearable though. Nikki Ziering is gorgeous, and the film advertises her heavily but she hardly has any screen time at all, and was wasted, I was incredibly disappointed. Rest of the cast are equally as bad. Overalll avoid it!, what has happened National Lampoon?. * out of 5
View MoreSome friends and I were at Blockbuster over the weekend. None of us could agree on what film to see. We decided that no one was in the mood for anything really heavy or intellectual. Just some stupid movie to have a few laughs and possibly a few beers to. All of us had seen the really Obvious comedies or big films that you rent from the new release wall as defaults when you're in the mood to just watch some film that you don't have to think about with friends. So we saw the box for GOLDDIGGERS and thought "there are hot chicks on the cover, that kid from American PIE and BOY MEETS WORLD are in it. Its a national lampoon film. I'm sure it will provide some amusingly crude dick and fart jokes and occasional shots of tits and be on par with EURO-Trip as one of those utterly stupid films that you can just pop in and let your brain rust, chuckle occasionally, and kill an hour and a half of your night." Seriously, this film makes Eurotrip seem academy award worthy. The screenplay isn't even worth picking apart. It is failed joke after failed joke after failed joke. And then, it becomes entirely disgusting. And not Cameron Dias with Cum in her hair SOMETHING ABOUT MARY disgusting where its FUNNY. this was just disgusting. The basic premise of the film is that these 2 young screw ups try to seduce 2 elderly women. You can already guess how disgusting the sexual interactions already are.And I wasn't expecting much from this film. I was really looking for 2 things: 1. Boobs. 2. Laughs.1. The boobs were old and disgusting and by the time it got to cuter girls, I was already thuroughly disgusted 2. Few and far between and mostly at the fact that I actually shelled out 4 dollars to rent this piece of theatrical donk.So note to all: don't bother renting stupid comedies that you've never head of and are shorter than 90 minutes or star c-list actors. Generally, there's a reason you've never heard of it. Did this even get a theatrical release? I would hope not.
View MoreNational Lampoon's has been around a long time. Animal House, the vacation series, perhaps even Van Wilder was when National Lampoon films were on top and raked in the cash. Now they seem to hit below the belt with cheap straight to video films that are usually a home for TV actors and actress' to go to make some cash. Kudos to them. Doesn't make them less funny just less popular. GoldDiggers or LadyKiller as it's known on IMDb was a cheap, slapstick, good for a chuckle, a little comedy. It won't blow anyone away or stick around for classics reruns. The story goes like this...two best friends who grew up in an orphanage together and basically continually get handed a bad dose of bad luck in life try and come up with a scheme to change their luck. After their first couple of ideas turn out very badly, they find themselves in the company of two older ladies who appear to be very wealthy. The brainier leader of the two friends, Cal, hatches a plan to marry the two sisters and when the croak they will be heirs to all their money. Unfortunately what they don't know is that the two sisters don't have a penny. Their Uncle stole their entire fortune from them and now they are plotting to marry the two friends, insure them and then kill them. So the two pairs secretly set traps to try and knock off the other two. Unfortunately they all backfire and end up taking the wrong victims. Finally in a last ditch effort all four of them try to blast each other and discover that they are all trying to kill each other. After that the four of them hatch an all new plan as a team to break into their Uncle's mansion and steal back the sisters' family fortune. There are some really funny knee slapper moments at the start of the film and then a real lag in the middle. The true heart of the movie comes when the two sisters played by Louise Lasser and Renee Taylor, team up with their much younger husbands played by Will Friedle and Chris Owen. The four of them make a hilarious comedy team and all of them are actually quite talented comedians. Will Friedle is a far cry from his Boy Meets World (horribly annoying) character and he's actually funny and his comedy is well timed and his expressions are classic. Teamed up with Chris Owen, The Shermenator from the American Pie Series, you have a comedy team genius...for a low budget film. Despite the few humorous sexual scenes with the elderly ladies, the jokes stay remarkably out of the toilet which is unusual for a comedy let alone a National Lampoon's comedy. They also force and I mean brutal force the Lampoon's necessary breast shots into the film...they have no bearing on the film and yet they manage to write it in. They stick out...and not in a good way. Nonetheless it's not a bad film and probably worth seeing if you're just looking for a stupid, fun movie. Averagely done. 5/10
