Really Surprised!

It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.

It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

This is one of the worst movies I have ever wasted 2 hours on. It has little to no plot and none of it is original. Something happens and dogs begin attacking and eating people. Bleh! The characters in addition to being 2 dimensional make every wrong choice they could possibly make. Usually the point in disaster movies is to survive whatever has happened. Not this one. The characters do everything possible to get attacked by the dogs except perhaps hanging raw steaks around their necks.I've seen some bad movies in my time; Mysterious Planet were you can actually hear the guy in charge (I will not use the term Director) yelling directions to the cast and Plan 9 From Outer Space which I still don't understand and this one ranks right up (or down) with them.

An impressive amount of dogs in this movie, and there were some surprisingly well-orchestrated (and bloody, at least in the unrated version I saw) attack-scenes with them...Definitely for a Asylum movie at least, who tend to cop out and use CGI instead of real animals but there was very little CGI in this, so kudos to them for that. There is some CGI of some green glowing meteor rocks on the ground which the movie might'd been better off being that the humans in the movie doesn't react to them being there (last minute edition to give the special effects team some work I guess). The plot is extremely simple, dogs go bananas and start attacking humans in a small-town and there's a family in particular who's the main focus and it is them we follow to see if they will get out alive. For the more part this plot (and the many lovely dogs) is enough to satisfy my interest but in the last 30 minutes it kind of loses it steam quite a bit and becomes too focused on random townsmen trying to escape the dogs, and the ending was a bit cheap to say the least.Acting is so so, decent for a Asylum flick I guess even though the mother played by Kelly Rutherford was not particularly believable in the 'scary scenes'.But overall I think it deserves slightly more than the 2.9/10 it currently has, somewhere between 3.9/10 and 4.9/10 all things considered.

I'm actually an hour and fourteen minutes into this movie while writing this. A brief summary; a meteor lands in a small town turning all the dogs into crazed killers and the people into mindless idiots. This movie is not scary, only annoying. Horrible plot, horrible acting and horrible characters. I really don't care if any of these people survive. I'll watch it to the end only because it's been a long day and I'm too tired to care. But please don't make the same mistake I've made and stay far away from this one. Watch the Green Inferno instead, at least it had some laughs. It mercifully just ended, one of the worst movies ever. Pray there will not be a sequel.

No,no, no! The previous four reviewers have it all wrong. This wasn't a slasher-monster movie at all. It was, instead, a riotous comedy! I literally laughed all the way through. Mostly at the sheer stupidity of the writers and storyline, but some of the mad-dog moments were hilarious! When the two fluffy, white shi-poodles (or whatever they where) bit off their mistress' nose, I was in stitches. See, when Syfy makes an "original" movie or series, you have to expect dumb, pointless scripts and flat, awful acting. So sit back and yuck it up. If you want to grieve then we can go with Eureka and Warehouse 13, both of which were canceled in mid-season by Syfy.
