Better Late Then Never

A bit overrated, but still an amazing film

Blistering performances.

This zombie movie made Hell of the Living Dead (1980) look like advanced and superb filmmaking. I mean, forget cheesy, this one is filled with terrible lines, bad acting - weird acting too in some cases - odd soundtrack, a crazy plot and bad zombie effects. Definitely deserves to be listed as one of the site's worst movies.Buy hey, at least you can still have fun with it. I mean, don't buy it expecting to find the next Dawn of the Dead or anything, just watch it knowing it'll be bad and you can laugh at it. It's more fun if you invite your friends, order a pizza and stuff, sit back and take turns shouting insults at the characters. With bad movies like this you can always still make them really worth watching, just by having fun with them, even if they are just so awful.

The box says Night of the Zombies but the opening titles say Night of the Zombies 2. I'll call it Part 2 and call it a bad Part 2 at that. If you're watching a zombie movie about Nazi's, it's bound to be bad. Zombie Lake, Bloodsucking Nazi Zombies, they're all terrible. This one is a real snoozer complete with stock footage of the Pentagon and laughing zombies. The funniest thing though is the props: radiation detector (hair dryer) and foam sprayer (jet pack from a 50's sci-fi flick). The twist ending is not bad, but most people will quit watching after the first ten minutes. I know I wanted to. Even the most hardcore zombie fans will get no enjoyment out of this movie."We zombies are destined to rule the universe."

This movie is so bad I hope it comes out on DVD so I can watch it for a laugh. If you think your home movies are bad watch "Night of the Zombies" and you'll think you are Alfred Hitchcock!Without exception there is nothing redeeming about this film. The plot, script, direction and video quality are that bad.

The zombies in this film sure don't act like normal zombies. They don't come out of their tombs and eat people. They are guys who have been kept alive by a chemical since they fought in W.W.II(?).!!!SOME SPOILERS!!! A group of people spend the night in a tent near an area where parts of W.W. II were fought. Suddenly dead soldiers terrorize them. We soon discover that they are immortal beings who have been exposed to a gas that keeps them alive. Extremely boring, terrible story, and acting, but o.k. make-up effects on the corpses. *1/2 out of *****. Note: The film claims to be a sequel to Bruno Mattei's "Night of the Zombies" because in the opening credits it says "Night of the Zombies II," but it's not.
