A really funny watch I highly recommend. This kept my attention throughout as it successfully maintained a good pace and wit just the right balance which many films fail to deliver. It has a good storyline and is well acted. The lead actor is well cast he definitely makes this believable with his downtrodden expressions and lack of drive. I like a good superhero film and this one is based on a good idea/storyline which is refreshingly different to most. The 'ordinary Jo' angle is sweet and works well and is well played out. The visual effects are believable as well with explosive scenes mixed in with more subtle moments. The music is everything you want from an action/superhero number and certainly lifts the film and makes it a complete package. I watched this at a film festival amongst numerous other films and this one stood out for me.

This an awesome story about an "Average Joe" who needs a job and gets one as a super hero. The movie is set in San Antonio and follows the adventures of a super hero team doing their business in secret while looking for an addition to their elite, select squad. A mysterious evil comes back and challenges our heroes and heroines to one final dual. With disaster lurking, kidnappings and a mayor threatening to disband our anti evil doers is not enough for our "Average Joe" to step down. This is a unique story that will have you watching over and over again. With humor and a little drama "Now Hiring" will have you laughing a lot and crying a little.
