This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

If you are looking for a light, easy, and funny film then this should hit the spot.I don't know why there are so many low ratings for this - it is what it is. The acting is brilliant and the characters are believable and brought to live by brilliant acting.I haven't seen the original with Goldie Hawn so wasn't comparing - just enjoying a light and funny movie.

I always hate re-makes, especially if I've seen and enjoyed the original. Derbez's character at the beginning didn't do anything to change my mind; he really did play the perfect ar**hole - and Faris hasn't exactly been known for picking epic roles.Once the scene was set and the plot picked up its pace though, I was very pleasantly surprised. The characters were believable, the "peanut gallery" of supporting cast were fantastic and well-suited to the characters they portrayed, and it just flowed beautifully.Truly a "must watch" if you have a family - or if you're just a big softie at heart.

Bringing in the Latin music and actors!! Remaking a classic with a Latin spice of music that makes you wanna get up and dance and laugh out loud at relatable parts!!!

I loved it!!! I thought it was would be corny and kinda stupid, but it was the cutest movie I've seen in a long time.
