When news of John Smith's death reaches America, Pocahontas is devastated. She sets off to London with John Rolfe, to meet with the King of England on a diplomatic mission: to create peace and respect between the two great lands. However, Governor Ratcliffe is still around; he wants to return to Jamestown and take over. He will stop at nothing to discredit the young princess.

I wish i could go back in time so i didn't have to watch it. I got so mad because she chose the other John over John Smith. John Smith took a bullet to save her fathers life and she totally forgets about him and moves onto another man! I also didn't like how they completely changed her. She used to be inspiring and a role model but in the 2nd movie, she was neither. They dressed her up, stripping away her origin. The movie was also really boring. So i don't recommend watching it. Cons: Boring. She changes and is no longer inspiring. She chooses the other dude over John Smith Pros: None.

First off, let me say that when I was very little, I used to love this sequel as well as Pocahontas 1 when I used to watch them both very often on VCR. I also used to know all of the words to "Where do I go from here" when I was in Elementary School, and sometimes I would even sing that and "Colors of the Wind" to myself. But I am in college now, and what do I think of this movie today? This is SO AWFUL! Pretend this movie doesn't exist, and erase it from your memory unless you like to look back to your childhood. I would also like to say how this movie and the first have some accurate historical elements to them, but I don't like how a lot of things about this horrible direct-to-video sequel are INACCURATE to the real life Pocahontas, who in fact, DID travel to London and marry John Rolfe. In this film, I didn't like John Rolfe's personality much, and I thought Disney should have made this movie even more inaccurate by having Pocahontas end up with John SMITH instead of ROLFE. Skip this atrocious sequel, watch the first movie if you have a sibling or a parent who likes that movie, and otherwise, watch a documentary from PBS or the History Channel that explains the actual Pocahontas.

I adore Pocahontas , and this movie just ruined my love for her. I'm those type of girls that like it when a Disney character likes one guy, and doesn't go off for another guy just because the other guy couldn't exactly contact her or whatever it may be. And what's with the John's. I think one is enough. What did John Smith ever do to deserve her leaving him? And what had that other John done to deserve her love, NOTHING!!!! John Smith practically put down his life to do what was right and this other John did nothing but get her out of a prison where she wouldn't have been if it weren't for him in the first place. I swear if they make a third movie, I'm going to cry

Why'd they turn John Smith into a Douchebag? That's pretty well all that needs to be said, John Smith was very understanding and compassionate in the first movie, love of Pocahontas' life, the key element in the whole movie and the second movie.... John who? Well John Rolfe and they turn John Smith into a douche bag who seeks attention and is captain cocky with arrogance to remove him from the whole thing. And in the end John Smith is kind of like well that life changing relationship that stopped a war between races isn't that big of a deal and Pocahontas ends up with the random guy!!!!So they ruined a good movie, a good character and had to get second rate voice talents to cover it up e.g. it's not Mel Gibson... but we got his brother, close enough right? So to make up for it, we'll make him speak as little as possible and remove him from the picture.
