best movie i've ever seen.

TrueHello

Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

I like the storyline for this fan made Predator film knights v.s the Predator cool storyline and the kills were actually pretty cool this is the first time the Predator kills a woman and he kills her in the best way as possible. Only 2 guys survive (in the actual films a woman and a man always survive but in this one that didn't happen) the only thing i didn't like was the ending it felt a little bit too rushed and i expected a big showdown with the Predator's death but for a fan made film it was a great one they did a good job and it was entertaining. I hope they actually make a sequel with a bigger budget liked it a lot an 8 out of 10 for me.

As a true fan of Predator, even an absolute freak of it, I must say - picking the Dark Ages is brilliant. Shear Brilliance. Thank you for making this and keeping the Predator alive. The movie is not perfect, of course, but it is very close to it. Assuming you had a small budget doing this film just make it even better.Even though I enjoyed a lot watching it (I must admit, 3 times over the past 3 hours), I had some issues with it which I'll regard right now. First of all, actors doesn't seem to struggle. What I mean is, they do not "run". It looks like they are walking fast. Neither heavy breathing nor sweat. Second, Predator's invisibility cloak seems odd. Predator movies must get back to the roots of Schwarzenegger's Predator (1987) or even Glober's when it comes to camouflage. Third, Predator does not seem to terrify, as he not running around the target like a mad-man. Just showing there. Fourth, fighting scenes are too slow and characters appear to be standing. But, in this case, the pros get way over the cons. I mean, as I said before, Dark Ages? Genius. I must start with the soundtrack. It is great, incredible, some of the sound is new and some of it reminds the original (I'm positive none of it is copied because of copyright issues, right?). Actors dressed great for the period presented in the movie and also the jungle area just fits perfectly. Predator on full state (without cloak) looks amazing, just like the first one. Storyline is deep, too bad the movie is too short to dig in more into that. I've been expecting for some sort of a sequel to this franchise and this one just hit the spot. If I'll start writing on everything that is good about this short film, I won't be done here. All this greatness just shadows over every err made. Overall, this one is 9.5/10. Why 9.5? Because this masterpiece is only 25 minute long. Great job!

From the very first seconds of this successful short, you're drawn in by the tone, the acting and the surprisingly substantial production values. The movie feels like a proof of concept, and although the Middle Ages setting is a mind-boggling departure from the Fox series, it works really well and demonstrates that such a storyline could work if it were spun into a full-length feature. I hope it is! The only aspects that were jarring were the fall landscape and the low light. Lush foliage and sun filtering through the canopy are key elements of the franchise - they heighten the primordial feel. Of course, night scenes are also de rigueur, and the one featured here is appropriately climactic. The script even displayed a dry sense of humor and the interplay between the Saracen scholar and his band of enemies turned companions of misfortune reminded me at times of the 13th Warrior (a memorable entry in the same genre).
