The boredom of small town life is eating Bill Williamson alive. Feeling constrained and claustrophobic in the meaningless drudgery of everyday life and helpless against overwhelming global dissolution, Bill begins a descent into madness. His shockingly violent plan will shake the very foundations of society by painting the streets red with blood.

How sad is this?

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

Everything goes as smooth as the script wanted to. In the last decades the press has shown many cases, yet the planning and execution suffered. Here is where the production team intervenes. The guy is good at it. His plan works like whole teams can't produce. To make things worse, the camera and the flashes are annoying and seem to be there only to serve one clear purpose: as smoke and mirrors to compensate for a badly drawn character, because the character isn't the subject, the subject is what might happen if state control is anything below total.

The movie and the series may not have had a huge budget, advertising campaign, or may have been a cinematic masterpieces, but they were what they were meant to be. The movie took ideas that many would consider profound and scary and brought them together in a very real feeling manner. Many probably don't understand the purpose behind the series, which (at least in my opinion) was to make people think about our societies problems and to inspire them to try and find solutions to them by showing them one man's solution; Eliminate those who are responsible for the problems or responsible for the problems not getting solved. They showed us that change doesn't have to come from our government, our military, or even foreign powers. instead they showed us how one man at the bottom of the totem pole with a willingness to do what ever it takes for his beliefs or idea can make an impact felt across a nation. I believe they did splendidly in how they portrayed their story as well. They didn't bring in some A list macho actor. They got an actor that most people have never heard of, someone who looks like and can portray the everyday citizen. I believe that this is a movie series almost everyone should see.

Channeling the worst kind of rat brain conspiracy gun nut insanity that is the real Uwe Boll on chat boards, he's finally authentic. Brendan Fletcher is great. The fierce anger and frustration of a high school shooter are vividly portrayed. Good twist at the end.Matt Frewer is great counterpoint as the weak liberal dad. Lynda Boyd is okay but, she is normally so sexy, it might have been a good idea to inject some mother son fun. By the last comment, you may understand that this movie is not for everyone, just people without a politically correct stick jiggling out your ass. So, watch it with your teenage son if you dare. It's bound to strike a chord or nerve or a nerve chord. Lots of Joe-bob-Briggs-level crude mayhem. Regarding screen violence, there is video game style violence of the kind when you've decided to make your character pure evil and shoot the bunnies along the path and all the helpful villagers. So, you might think of this as true escapist fare, a what-if satire, certainly not a high school shooter blueprint you nervous nellies. I really enjoyed it.

I'm by no means a Uwe Boll fan. I find much of his work gratuitous and or amateurish. I was surprised therefore by this title. Its classic Boll in so much as it is very very violent. What raises this title above his usual fare however is it does actually have a workable, convincing story that holds together well. Moreover, the acting is of a reasonable caliber which further aids this flicks cause. Don't expect great things but do expect an entertaining if rather disturbing journey through the psychosis of an overlooked young man in small town America.Worth a look.
