Sick Product of a Sick System
one of my absolute favorites!
For all the hype it got I was expecting a lot more!
View MoreThe movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
View MoreHere we have the twelfth instalment in the below-par horror anthology series from the Philippines. It's another trio of histrionic horrors that lack the right budgets to do the job properly, leaving the viewer twiddling their thumbs for a large majority of the running time. First up is a possessed doll story that manages to be singularly unconvincing despite some over-the-top interludes along the way. Next we have a trio of demon-menaced girls in a tale which is far too drawn out and talky for its own good. The final story is set in a funeral parlour where menace lurks in the form of unpleasant-looking monsters. High melodrama meets drawn-out boredom and the end result is disappointing.
