Truly Dreadful Film

The Worst Film Ever

Doomtomylo

a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

From director Gregg Bishop comes the 2016 creature feature SiREN; the story of a bachelor party that turns into a fight for survival when the groom accidentally releases a dangerous predator. I found this by chance when I was browsing for a film to watch late one night, and decided to give it a try. I knew that likely, it would be a bad film, with nothing much to hold it, and I wasn't expecting much from it; maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much.I found this film to be quite unique, even though it was based off of V/H/S and another piece of media, Amateur Nightt. The story itself – the groom releases a siren after being totally bewitched by her, and murder, gore and a fight for survival follows. The only thing that did rather annoy me about this film was that, it took a while to start up. It was very slow to begin, and that really put me in a bit of a bad mood with it. It took me a while to get into it when it did eventually start up, but I was grateful I was rather bored with it. It made the beginning of the story line and the action much more exciting. The acting in this was really well done, and all actors and actresses deserve to be recognised for their work in this film. They obviously worked hard for it and it more than definitely paid off; the acting in this, for a creature feature, is absolutely spectacular. The special effects, as a make up artist myself, I have to mention. They were shockingly good. They were very realistic, they looked like the siren herself was something you could come across in the street when walking at night, and isn't that the goal of special effects? Unfortunately, of course, there was the insane blood splatter that just isn't realistic at all, for the gore factor shock horror, and that was a real disappointment, after the film was just so strong in everything else.In summary – the acting and special affects are A*, the story line could have done better and is about a B-, and the overall experience was amazing, ranking about an A-

Jonah (Chase Williamson) is about to marry Eva (Lindsey Garrett). His three buddies take him out to the finest adult entertainment establishment in Garden City, which turned out to be a cellulite factory. They meet a man who knows a real place and they follow him to a secret "hellfire" establishment. Here Jonah meets the Siren (Hannah Fierman) as part of his fantasy, oh but wait...she is locked in a room...someone must let her go...someone who is drunk and on mushrooms would be the idea guy.The Siren reminded me a little the Splice girl (Not Cinnamon splice, the other one.) with her tail. Justin Welborn did a good job as Nyx, a role normally reserved for Robert Englund, or Sid Haig. The special effects were decent and the plot wasn't some old hack formula... oh wait it was taken from "Amateur Night" of the 2012 horror anthology "V/H/S." But all is good. Decent characters, dialogue and soundtrack.Guide: F-word, sex, and nudity

i thought it was going to be another b minus movie until i watched it. I was really surprised at how entertaining it was. I can't wait for the next part seeing that the Lily female flew away with the lead male. the Lily female was very sexy even though she is a creature, the movie showed us she has a very nice butt too! The story was OK but i think with a better writer this could turn into a very nice trilogy, the next installment could make or break the chance of getting to a third movie.I have a very different taste when it comes to movies so i don't expect people to see the same things as i do so with that being said i really hope they make a second installment because the story is not finished!

First of all I'd say it's a B movie, so nothing blockbuster about it. I also don't think the title matches the 'creature' of the movie at all so it's misleading, well kind of.Overall, the acting was average and with the bland background people made the movie seemed lifeless without the element of thriller or a horror. I mean there's no sense of danger of a creature lurking/ hunting it's victims nor is there gore or blood to make it a 'horror' and I'm not a blood person myself but I expected more.Overall not a great movie, the plot seemed lacking, the acting was average for a B movie. I would not recommend this and as I said, the movie trailer was much better.
