I was going to give it a 2 for the computer graphics, which were the only redeeming quality of this "movie". But, it is just so bad, that I had to give it a 1.Terrible acting. Unappealing and ugly characters. Boring fight scenes where it was obvious the actors were waiting for the next move of their opponents. And the plot was less interesting than bowling. It should not get props just because it was an independent, low-budget film. It should be judged solely on its entertainment value. There are sketches on youtube made by 15 year olds with cheap camcorders that are far more entertaining than this pig slop.Darth Vader's voice was really good though. And the hologram effect was decent. Other than that, it was a major disappointment.

I saw other movies more bad, anyway for me it's just a cheap try to make a SF movie. Even first Star Wars movies are better. Actors are very ugly and they play like a bunch of kids. Talking about kids play, I remember when I saw "Alien VS Predator", I was very impressed about special effects but very bad impressed about actors. It's like I start myself to do a movie and instead professional actors I use the neighbors from my street. Special effects are good, nothing to comment but the rest???? I like so much SF movies and I don't want to be ruud but this one it's just crap... Am I wrong...... or it's just a parody........Cornel (Cat Best)

Keeping in mind that it is a volunteer, not-for-profit effort, "Revelations" is very, very good. I have only watched it via Windows Media Player on my laptop, but from what I saw the special effects were quite a bit better than I expected. Given its short length, I would have liked a little more story line and character development, and a little less "flying around", but even the flying around was enjoyable to watch. The acting was decent, again keeping in mind that the actors and director are not pro (major Hollywood release) level. However, it was a darn sight better than I expected. Zhanna was a little stiff in her efforts to be evil.Overall, an excellent effort!

Had a friend with a decent high end PC download the two disc DVD set for me and have just watched the film and a handful of the extras. All, I can say is... wow! For a fan made film with no financial backing other than the directors' pocket, this truly is excellent. The plot segues nicely after Episode III while introducing a new type of Jedi (the Seers). The effects are almost universally incredible, and having watched the effects documentary on disc 2, I am even more impressed.Sure, it's got it's faults - the acting can be a little... meh, and the sound & music mix ebbs and flows all over the place (I was constantly reaching for the volume control), picture's a bit dark sometimes, way too much hair-tossing too! But all these are minor faults when you realise just how much work went into itIt actually feels like a Star Wars film, and I for one would be happy for it to be the first episode of the up-coming TV series - it's all but crying out for a sequel as it is. Give these people jobs and a salary! And kudos to the creators for producing a fantastic DVD set as well. Animated menus, a blooper reel, making of docs (wonderfully produced); there's even an easter egg. (disc one- above the play movie option - 'radio') Very impressed, let's hope Lucas sees and approves. To all at Panic Struck Productions - a huge well done.
