As the Clone Wars sweep through the galaxy, the heroic Jedi Knights struggle to maintain order and restore peace. More and more systems are falling prey to the forces of the dark side as the Galactic Republic slips further and further under the sway of the Separatists and their never-ending droid army. Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan learner Ahsoka Tano find themselves on a mission with far-reaching consequences, one that brings them face-to-face with crime lord Jabba the Hutt. But Count Dooku and his sinister agents, including the nefarious Asajj Ventress, will stop at nothing to ensure that Anakin and Ahsoka fail at their quest. Meanwhile, on the front lines of the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Master Yoda lead the massive clone army in a valiant effort to resist the forces of the dark side...

if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

The animation looks good only when it's not showing faces because most of the characters faces and even some of the movements look so wooden. The story itself dealing with the Hutts isn't that interesting, the characterisations feel awkward considering the already known arcs. The main problem is this was supposed to be 4 episodes of the series which could've worked in that context but it was made into a theatrically released film. But no one is fooled here, anyone watching this will know they are watching a tv show. The story and the humour are more of the style of cartoons that we are used to seeing in Cartoon Network than that of Star Wars. Even with all of this and some annoying characters, it provides enough entertainment to be very much bearable.

i never enjoyed something this much before. Clone wars was fault less it had a bit of everything in it, it was Funny Sad it was an emotional roller coaster. It had so much that i didn't know about from the movies it showed me what was missing from the movies i learned on how the Jedis work and how the Sith work and also normal people in the galaxy.. I also learned about bounty hunters and also what Boba went through after attack of the clones. The animation was spot on and so well illustrated. It was so entertaining there was always something going on in the show. Its definitely for every age group i watched it with my whole family and we are all different ages and everyone loved it. I love the characters and the originality involved in the show it all fitted in with attack of the clones and revenge of the sith. They couldn't have made the show any better than what it is. The story line is great i actually enjoyed the clone wars better than the movies and i wish they made it a movie would have been awesome. Its a shame they stopped Clone wars and never finished it off i am really disappointed and sad over this i wish they continued on with it i love Ahsoka Tano a lot she is such a great character she suited well with the show especially being a new character. I am really upset that instead of the continuation of Clone Wars we get Rebels it is such a shocking show i was expecting characters that we know from Clone Wars instead we got something that is for 4 year old's and a character that is practically like Aladdin. Anyways thanks to George Lucas for making Clone wars cant get better than it Disney is just failing with Rebels.

The original reviews of this film are seeped with venom and I can hardly blame them. This movie, which is essentially the first three episodes of The Clone Wars TV series strung together, should not have received a theatrical engagement and definitely received one solely for the purpose of a quick buck (an effort which backfired since this is the only SW film to bomb at the box office to date). The animation is ghastly, with stiff characters. The fight scenes drag and become boring. And the kiddie element is shamelessly at play, from those irritating battle droids bantering to the irritating Ziro the Hutt. But does this movie really deserve one star ratings? No. To say this is worse than the prequel films is laughable. At least here Anakin Skywalker has a personality, one which is likable. The plot is solid enough and there are enough good moments to cancel out some of the cringe-worthy ones. Honestly, this movie's worst sin are the long, boring stretches where there's nothing but laser blasts and mindless light saber battles going on.If you've never seen The Clone Wars series before, then I urge you not to watch this first. The kiddie elements and poor animation may put you off, which would be a shame because the TV show is excellent. The animation, character dynamics, and stories are of high quality, and there is a maturity on display in them rare in "family" television. This is for completionists only.
